DFCSA Funds in 2022/23

Post by Gary C »

(first published in the pre-season match-day programme 2023/24)

Over the last year, DFCSA have worked tirelessly to raise funds to be able to assist the Club and wider community in many different projects. Among our fundraising events, we have put on two hugely popular (and profitable!) race nights, monthly quiz nights, kit sponsorship, a Community Fun Day as well the friendly fundraising match at the end of the season. This is in addition to our normal match-day fundraising of the 50/50 prize draw and our Golden Goals.

In the last year, DFCSA have provided funding for the following:

- a TV for the Club Reception
- Funds to finance the Club Minibus & Scoreboard
- GPS vests for DFC Women’s Team
- Academy Storage Shed
- Photo printer for Club Shop/Junior Darts use
- New Gym equipment for use by the various DFC teams
- Heat Press for shirt numbering
- Replacement lights for Grassbanks & the Plaza
- Donations to Darent Valley Hospital, the injured Bath City player & the Mayor’s Charity Appeal
- Sponsored the DFC Women’s Team FA Cup 2nd Round match
- Various minor repairs/upkeep around the Stadium

It is thanks to you, our Members/Supporters and our wider family that we have been able to help the Club in this way so thank you so much for your continued support. We are aiming to continue raising funds throughout 2023/24 with much of the same but if you have any ideas for future fundraising, please email dfcsacom@gmail.com

Thanks for the info Gary as i don't buy the programme and i think it's really important everyone knows what the Supporters Association does with the funds.

Well done everyone and keep up the good work.
