Think we are playing Man City and not St Albans! Come on we are at home, finished above them in the regular season despite a stuttering last third, and we should win the game no disrespect to our visitors! COYDs!
I don’t think anyone’s denying that we have the edge. We’re just aware that they’re a strong side with a top striker who will really fancy themselves tomorrow. If we go in thinking it’ll be a breeze then we risk a repeat of Chippenham last year or Braintree in 2018!

I don’t mind admitting (after a few post-coronation bevvies admittedly) that I am nervous as f**k about tomorrow, which is kind of weird since I don’t remember being quite as giddy going into the playoff semis against Basingstoke, Chelmsford or Braintree. H&W doesn’t count (in my mind) because of the bizarre circumstances forcing us all to watch on screens. Perhaps it has become more important as time and precedent failings have gone by, maybe it is also because we have arguably earned more right to go up by pure virtue of persistence.
Whatever the reason, tomorrow (today - oops) is absolutely massive for Dartford FC and we will all be so massively gutted if Jeffers & Co. shunt us. I am going to make noise for our lads. Please join me and we will see our lads in the final next Sunday.

Believe.

I am outside Jeffers house now!! Engines running, not sure what time he’s due to leave but the plan is just to nudge him into the wheelie bins a little, nothing more.
He’ll be back for pre season I’m sure ??

Well it's here, the day we have been awaiting for pretty much from February onwards.

We have proved we are the second best team in the league over the course of the season, we just need to show it again in the next two games.

Will be a tense afternoon, when the pressure is on these boys have delivered consistently this season as has Dowse, whatever the score let's give them all the vocal backing we can today, and make home advantage count.

St Albans will be loud, but we need a massive effort today both on the pitch and from the terraces, if you don't normally sing, do so today, if you don't normally shout do so toady, if you moan at a miss placed pass encourage them today.

We can do this.

Agree with DA Mikey and not sure why but also extra nervous for this game.
St Albans are a good side but we know on our day we can beat anyone so if the team are on it today we have every chance.
Agree with Harry as well, us fans need to do our bit as well and really get behind the team, let's make sure we do.

Haven't really felt nervous..until this morning.

We all know how dangerous St Albans and Jeffers can be and if we start the game like we did a few weeks ago then we won't get away with it again.

As others have said when the pressure has been on this season the lads have turned up. I hope for the same today.

The team selection will be interesting with everyone fit and hopefully Dowse gets it spot on.

Let's get behind the team.

I wonder if this is because of the way they destroyed us for most of the first half not too many weeks ago. I know that’s what makes me feel nervous for today.
But as I’ve mentioned on another thread I remind myself we were better side second half with a tactical switch and we played on the Thursday 2days before.

While they are a very decent side I put this into perspective that were a bloody good team too and even though it’s two fairly even sides and they will find it tough at our place especially with a packed raucous crowd

Hoping that we can be the twelfth man today. We know that it is easier to be noisy away from home than in your own ground. We have to buck that trend today. Lets be behind the Darts from the off. We expect the players to give everything today. They have every right to expect that from us.

Come on you DARTS!
