This match is generating a huge amount of interest. Not sure what to expect. Samir is probable out until next season and Wall may not be fit after the incident/s at Eastbourne yesterday. He really does receive no protection from the men in black.

Who knows which keeper will play? Who will call heads on Monday morning? The crowd should exceed 2,000 for this match with Dartford pushing to claim second place, but I fear we may struggle to reach 1,500.

Having promised to take the family to the Chelsea ladies semi-final match against Barcelona, I now find out is is on Saturday 22 April. Why? - this is a mid-week tournament. Not too sad at missing the pleasures of watching St Albans though. Interestingly, Chelsea are only charging £15 admission for adults and £8 for under 20s. What great value for such a high profile match.

Hoping for some atmosphere on Monday against our old rivals from the coast.

If results are kind to us yet again tomorrow, we could be guaranteed a league finish no lower than sixth with five matches to play. By Thursday night, it could be no lower than fourth. We are in a very strong position and must now press on to finish the job. Three wins and a draw from the last six matches would probably confirm second place. Chelmsford look to be the biggest threat with what looks to be an easier run-in to the end of the month. If Oxford achieve a home victory over Chelmsford tomorrow, our task may become a little easier. There is much to play for and nothing is guaranteed. Hang on to your hats.

We certainly on current form of last 6 away matches [ w0 d3 l3 ]do NOT want to finish 4th as ALL OUR matches could[will] well be away so lets ALL hope to hell we can get the points to get into 2nd or 3rd place to give ourselves a chance [?] of winning the play ofs

Surely Dover has got to be a win game !!!!!!!!!!!!

Good job this derby is at home against Dover! Maybe we can go unbeaten in the league against the Kent sides this season and improve our chances of finishing second. Here's the match preview https://puredfc.co.uk/dartford-v-dover-athletic-2 where you can check out our excellent Kent derby record this season!

According to Non-League Podcast host and Dover super fan Matt Gerrard (corroborated by Disco Stu’s usual excellent preview), the Whites don’t score any goals, so the reliance for entertainment surely stands on our shoulders.
Historically a good showdown, although more recently remembered for the 6-1 hiding dished out to us in 2015.
Hopefully our home form will see us through. I’d agree we need 7 points to cement second place, so a win tomorrow gets us pretty much halfway there.

On holiday so will miss the game today. I was m sure we will win today and see no reason why we can’t finish second and hzvd a real chance to win the play offs. No team will relish a game at PP
However I have been confused all season with dowse team selection and tactics and I wish I knew what he was talking about post game interviews. I think he should wait until the next day before he comments to save rambling on about nothing
Anyway he had a good record as a manager and putting us in this position proves he must know what he is doing but I can honestly say I do not understand why he brings players in and hardly gives them a game.
Good luck today lads

Will not be there today. Hopefully I don't get to see a certain person posting.
This has to be a win for us today, no two ways about it. Wet and slippery conditions it seems so need to be on a sure footing. If we 'slip' up today it will surely put us in amongst the other's unless they all manage to screw it up again.
It's looking like no Samir in the run in so we need other's to step up.
A tougher game to follow with Taunton and if we manage to screw up on both games I think we could kiss goodbye to the cherished 2nd place. And then we will be in the lap of the Gods.
Someone spoke of a 2,000+ attendance?? I really don't think so. Hope I get proved wrong on all counts.

I might have hoped to get down for today's game, but once again, let down by services on the West Coast Mail Line as there are no services into Euston for the whole of the Easter period. So many unexpected ted results in this league, but I will keep the faith, and will be tuning into the match commentary.

This crappy weather will have a say in the attendance

Sorry this is utter garbage, two very poor sides!

We are only 2nd because no one else is consistent and can put a run together or we would be out of the play offs.

Back to the 2nd half and I am sure it will be the long high ball again!
