Re: KentOnLine Interview with Dowse.

Spot on, Spike. Definitely want we want to hear from our manager and certainly the sort of positive vibe I had when Dowse was originally appointed. Im sure the new signings will justify our rediscovered optimism.

Not sure they would want to go through all that pullava again?
Let’s hope the FA see sense and transfer Chelmsford to the North then!

Re: KentOnLine Interview with Dowse.

Extremely disappointed in the majority of Dowse’s comments. I thought the bloke was a fighter but instead appears to be something of a whinger. At the recent Meet the Manager gathering he stated this was the best run football club he’d been involved with. I suggest he convey the benefits of a well r...

Re: Dartford v St Albans City Sun 7 May 2023 @ 12.30

A good team performance and we unfortunately paid for the missed chances in the end and then to lose on penalties We were the better team but made two mistakes which cost us the win on the day from a rehearsed corner and that first penalty miss but full marks to all of our players who had to take t...

Re: Player news

Bradbury makes that 42 players used this season. Wow! Not many less than SK, eh baldyshaw! Just thought instead of another loan player, maybe give some of the Academy Kids a start, Cameron is a good player, why not use him, (im aware hes out on loan again) instead of the invisible Man Tommy Block, ...

Re: Player news

I'm glad that we have signed someone to mix it up as regards the attack. What I don't understand is Dorchester have a good chance of getting into the play-off's so why would they loan out one of their forwards? Unless of course he's not making first choice. Seem's strange, but good luck to the lad ...

Get well soon, Charlie. And as has been said on here and elsewhere; the referee was shocking and I think failed to give one decision Charlie’s way in several collisions with their centre halves.

Re: Dartford v Chippenham Town Sat 11 Feb 2023

After a couple of poor performances and defeats and a decent draw at Welling, I was more than happy that we got back on winning track yesterday. Not the best performance overall but two absolute quality goals and a few more decent chances via Luke Coulson gave us sufficient breathing space to see th...

Re: Alan Dowson Midweek Update - 19/01/23

Really enjoyed listening to Dowse. The bloke is absolutely spot on with his vision and mentality for what this club could and should achieve. The fact that we are currently mixing it with well funded Ebbsfleet and Havant is testament to Dowse’s ability to build sides that challenge at the top end of...

But I was reliably informed it’s the home of 40 Commando so I didn’t make a fuss!!
I reckon you’d have been alright, government cuts has reduced them to 2 Commando and a moped.

I think Darts should be grateful playing them at that time tbh.
I think Ebbsfleet should be thankful that we aren’t full time like them. Imagine what carnage there would have been?

Hopefully we’ll be quick out of the blocks again and put them under the cosh from the start. We’ve put ourselves in a decent position but still require our closest opponents to drop points to ensure top spot once they have caught up their fixtures. 3 points would certainly help maintain the pressure...

Re: POSTPONED Kent Senior Cup 2nd round - Ebbsfleet v Dartford Tue 10 Jan 2023

Perhaps the lovely folk up the road at Stonehenge should have played the match in December when it was originally scheduled? I understand their manager bottled it as he didn’t want to give away his game plans for the league fixtures at Christmas…
