Re: Braintree Town v Dartford Tue 12 Mar 2024
This Olly Box situation is so disappointing to hear. The catalogue of errors from top to bottom at our club this season is bewildering. Constant bad decision after bad decision, a disinterested auditor would be forgiven for thinking there was a saboteur on the inside. Many decent folk have given up....

Re: Last 10 games
Tomorrow’s game is a bit like the last ten or so, in that a win suddenly breathes a bit of life back into our hopes of survival.
But it has been that way for two months now and in 90% of those matches we’ve come away with tails between our legs.
We have to hope Braintree have a bad day.

Last 10 games
Braintree A Maidstone H Hemel H Truro A Chelmo A Eastbourne H Havant A Worthing H Yeovil A Truro H I predict eight points - wins against Hemel & Truro (H) and draws against Eastbourne & Worthing. Don’t expect any points away as I’ve only seen us take three at Dover (which doesn’t really coun...

Re: Torquay Utd v Dartford Sat 9 Mar 2024
I’m confused. One week there are “Can’t fault the players’ effort” comments and the next they are spineless charlatans? It’s not easy to pinpoint the exact downfall of this season as before 2024 dawned there was no concept of relegation at all. Can only think we have had a sub-standard team all seas...

Re: Torquay Utd v Dartford Sat 9 Mar 2024
Any Darts fans going to the match tomorrow are advised not to visit any of the pubs close to the ground. I was out in Torquay last night with a cousin who lives quite close to the ground in the St Marychurch area and he warned that the local pubs are not very welcoming to away supporters. T...

Re: Ady relishing fresh challenge
Nice to be able to understand him and no comments about the budget! Can’t deny we have moved late to replace Dowson and it may be all too late for Pennock to save us, but it would’ve been much worse had DFC not appointed anyone before season close and we had indeed “sleepwalked into relegation”. One...

At Gloucester, so you’d like to think Taunton wouldn’t get any closer than their “hosts”.ozymandias wrote: ↑Sat Mar 02, 2024 1:20 pm I hope Taunton get a better 'heads up ' from Truro should their game be called off today.

Case of cosmic ordering results for Angels and Braintree today.

Re: News from around the National League South
Gloucester will surely be sympathetic to the waterlogged pitch situation, but that is an incredible distance for a home game relocation! Where’s next for Truro? Telford? Gateshead?!

Re: New Manager.
I’m not so sure?? Depends if they want to slow down a bit & semi retire down to the south coast or live in the thriving, multi cosmopolitan, bustling, 24/7 hub of activity that is Dartford?? Where many of the pubs these days often close before Sainsbury's. You could try turning up before 10:30!...

Re: Dartford v Aveley - Tue 27 Feb 2024
Oh for a team of Coulsons and Boxes. Both of these guys ooze skill in attack and seek back when our opponents press. There is no doubt that tonight’s substitutions rocked the (reasonably steady) ship; Rooney is probably not best suited to CB, but was doing a decent job there and his removal saw Avel...

We will get smashed by Worthing and possibly Aveley.
Sad to say, but Dartford have been woeful for 14 months now.
