Re: Yeovil Town v Dartford Sat 13 Apr 2024
Slight exaggeration - it’s not as grim as Stanley Park or Luton. Does look a bit nicer in the sun, still not much libation opportunity though. Depends how much you like Wetherspoon really! Found a few fellow Darts out and about, be nice to think we might get 100 here today and hopefully make a game...

Obviously gonna finish in relegation zone but gotta get the highest spot in it, it’s crucial, you never know.

Re: News from around the National League South
The amount of lifelines we are being given by other results. A shame we cannot take the opportunities presented to us. I don’t think he meant that, I think he’s alluding to the other many results that have gone our way only for us to screw up the opportunity to gain ground, it’s happened many times.

Well i'm guessing your referring to me Matt because as far as i can see i'm the only one whose made reference to it on this thread. IMO our previous manager was the worse i can ever remember in my 50+ years of watching DFC, on and off the field. From the forced fun karaoke as soon as he arrived to ...

Re: Dartford v Worthing Tue 9 Apr 2024
Under the present structure with the old guard still at the helm, enjoying life as privileged fans, we were never going anywhere. Not unless a day out down the coast involving a piss up in the biggest Wetherspoons pub in the country is classified as going somewhere. I submitted a post earlier in th...

There will be questions either when it happens or at the end of the season. It hurts.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ARbm5yeJ248 He obviously has a ton of brilliant experience. There are some things I don’t agree with him on over last few weeks , Box and Greenidge situations for a start. But he’s likeable and I do like listening to him, he says the right things and is composed. I h...

Re: Havant & Waterlooville v Dartford Sat 6 Apr 2024
Bloody huge win, they say it's the hope that kills you and after Monday I had none, today they've given me the slightest. A shame Eastbourne won, hopefully Welling hold on against Torquay and they could get dragged into this Torquay definitely in it now. If we win game in hand then only 3points beh...

Re: Dartford v Eastbourne Borough Mon 1 Apr 2024
Unusually, I have just watched the highlights. I believe that the challenge that put Block out of the match would normally have been worthy of a yellow card, but this ref and the linesman saw nothing wrong with it and no free kick was given. They also both saw nothing wrong with the blatent handbal...

Re: Dartford v Eastbourne Borough Mon 1 Apr 2024
I appreciate this could well be in the wrong thread, but here goes: reading through, there is a lot of justified criticism of the 1st team (players and performance). As we near the end of a dismal season for them, we are also nearing the end of what could be a very successful season for our Women's...

Re: Dartford v Eastbourne Borough Mon 1 Apr 2024
It was a strange feeling this afternoon. I should be angry, ranting and raving or drunk. Even both by now. But for 99 minutes I just felt heavily sedated. Indifferent due to being not in the least bit surprised by what I was witnessing. To be honest I think many of us have known the writing has bee...
