Re: Dowse speaks on his first couple weeks as Darts Boss!
Another excellent interview and the more I listen to him, the more confident I become that AD is a perfect fit for our club. He knows what he is looking for and his enthusiasm is boundless. He is going to be a a great ambassador for the club and I can see fans getting behind him in good numbers. I'm...

Re: Player news
Excellent news to see the Club trying to bring players up from the academy. The successful academy teams were featured a few times in the NLP last season with match reports and I'm guessing Sam is one of those players involved. Not sure of Sam's position because looking him up I found reference to h...

DFCSA MEMBERSHIP
My 5 year membership for DFCSA has just expired and so needs to be renewed. However, I cannot find any method of renewing on line or even finding an application form to be printed off and sent by snail mail, neither here or even the club website. Am I missing something? Please could guidance or a li...

Re: NEW FIRST TEAM MANAGER: ALAN DOWSON
An excellent first interview from Dowse and he is making it very clear as to his aspirations about bringing everybody in the club pursuing the same aims together. He may be starting the season later, but as he says, he will be putting in the extra hours to catch up, because that is what is needed. I...

Re: News from around the National League South
Mekki will do a good job for Dorking Duke. I enjoyed watching him play for Tranmere a few seasons back. Also played at Bromley before his move to Fleet. But don't really know what happened to him at the Fleet because he didn't seem to play that many games, but when he did he seemed to be well involv...

Re: NEW FIRST TEAM MANAGER: ALAN DOWSON
Welcome to the World that is Princes Park. Just seen a photo of Alan Dowson stood and strapped on top of an aeroplane raising funds for a Woking charity, so here's looking forward to him taking the Darts sky high too! Seems well into community activities and being involved with the fans. He knows bo...

Re: Steve King
Wow. That decision has taken me by surprise, especially as I thought his contract had been extended. It is obvious SK has a very large contact book, including his articles for the NLP. He has also put a lot of hours in taking in a lot of games. So for all his efforts, he deserves credit and thank yo...

Re: Geoff Ashburn Clubman of the year
Congratulations Geoff, and very well deserved too! I've not been able to get down to PP for quite a while now, but whenever I did in more recent times, Geoff has been there working his socks off behind the scenes, along with many others too. We are very fortunate to have such people involved with th...

Re: Kent Senior Cup Final - Dartford v Folkestone Invicta Tue 17 May 2022
Well played Darts Good to see Conor Essam get a runout too after his injury too. If the crowd was only 476, I wonder how much that was due to the hastily arranged date by the Kent FA. It certainly didn't do Folkestone any good when they last played 3 weeks ago and their players had all said their go...

Re: Should we go full time if the finances allow?
Absolute “no brainer” if finances allow and we have serious ambitions for promotion to the National League. A full time fitter, well trained squad may also slow down the revolving door. I appreciate we have had a number of injuries this season but nearly 50 players ? Really ? I like many feel there...

All the best to the lads tonight, and I really hope we do get to hear a commentary. I have bought a ticket online for the game tonight, even though I will not be travelling down for the game. Just say its a recognition of the Darts reaching the play offs and a bit of money into the club. In fact I h...

Re: Eastbourne v Dartford Sat 7 May 2022
Incredible stuff, and the radio commentary was about the most enjoyable one I have listened to this season. Thank you Clare for the link. It did seem Eastbourne had their chances too, so I've no idea what the score might have been had both teams put away all their chances!! Just hope we have some go...

A bit of a turnaround there from the first half then.
Left it a bit late, but better late than never, so we'll done Darts. At least we get the opportunity of retaining the Cup.

Re: Dartford v Maidstone Mon 18 Apr 2022
A lot of interesting views being expressed after this match, and I think a lot of it is down to frustrations the fans are feeling, especially after the scorching start we had in the the first 10 games. There's no doubt we have had our fair share of injuries over the season, but then, so have other t...

Re: Climbing Snowdon Non League Legends (Dartford FC)
Just looked at that website again today as the 7th May is fast approaching. The £1500 target has been reached with the total currently standing at £1862, so still time for fans to donate to make it an even bigger sum. Excellent effort to date. Thought it worthwhile to bump this thread up. Come On Yo...

Re: Daily Mail Article 7th April 2022
If I recall correctly, I think it was Jeremy Kite who was behind trying to get the personalised post code for Princes Park, really wanting DARTS as the postcode, but what we now have is the nearest that could be allocated under the postcode system. Nice touch though to have a mention in the article....

Looking forward to tuning into the commentary. Missed it not being available in some recent matches. Certainly reaching the critical part of the season now as the games begin to run out, and I'm sure there will be a few twists and turns before it all finishes over these last few games. We Darts know...
