Re: Slough Town v Dartford Tue 20 Feb 2024

Not wanting to start a TB love in, however listening to his interviews is a breath of fresh air and exactly what we have been missing with Douse. I always felt that SK would also give an honest assessment of the game and provide confidence for us fans that it is a work in progress. Unfortunately the...

Re: Dover Athletic v Dartford Sat 17 Feb 2024

Dover will be not be a easy game, they will be fighting for every point. I still hope we may be the odd game away from some points ourselves. If the players are up for a fight we may get going Saturday, it feels like we have been shackled and the effects are wearing off (slowly) COYD's

I'm hoping to make it pending work. Fancy us for something from the game if things continue as seen so far. If not, hopefully not too much longer to see a turnaround in results.

Re: London Senior Cup 2nd Round - Dartford v QPR Dev Tue 6 Feb 2024

Excellent £5's worth despite the putrid weather. Good performances all over the pitch - especially impressed by the way we defended corners and free kicks, the ball staying on the turf, playing with 2 wide men and of course the penalty shoot out. What to take out of the game? Adebowa...

Re: London Senior Cup 2nd Round - Dartford v QPR Dev Tue 6 Feb 2024

An enjoyable game, personally I thought we were a bit lucky to come in 1-1 even though their goal came from a goal mouth scramble, they created more. However we dominated the second half and could have killed the game off with a goal if not for some great saves, but penalties were taken well and we ...

Re: Farnborough v Dartford Sat 3 Feb 2024

The overall tone coming across, is that we are taking small steps in the right direction. The additions sound good, maybe just what we need to spring a bit of life back into the squad. It has been concerning me that we hadn't had the typical jolt response from players, that you generally get when a ...

Re: New Manager.

IMO its hard to appoint the best man mid season. We need a temporary manager to keep us in the league and then take time to get Mr right to start as soon a practical at the end of this season.

Re: Harvey Bradbury

I meant it may have already been in discussion under Douse, and maybe too much water under the bridge to bother staying. Wasn't aware of all the facts :o , nor can I really say much about the current squad for this season, as I haven't attended. Not that I don't care about how we are doing, hoping t...

Re: Harvey Bradbury

Hopefully someone will shed some light on this. Has it been coming for a while, ie another player that couldn't work under Douse and was looking for a way out sharpish, or a knee reaction to his departure? I know where my money would be. Could be another reason altogether, but far to big a turnover ...

Na, probably wishful thinking, but they did go back on Douse so there is always hope.

Any chance of the under 16 policy been temporarily suspended as a trial period? Timing for this game could be worth the risk?!

Re: Alan Dowson sacked

I wish I had a like button Pete!! I think was the best thing for the club, this season has been a massive step back when we should have been building on the previous season. Douse had switched off from the players and the fans, i'm glad he has gone. The management team have failed and we cannot risk...
