Re: News from around the National League South

Bath City’s game with Dulwich as been abandoned after 5 minutes tonight after Baths Alex Fletcher collided with the advertising boards . Serious enough to abandon the game and we can only hope Alex will make a full recovery .

Re: Dartford v Braintree Town Sat 5 Nov 2022

Here is a question for Rick and any other stato’s on here When was the last time a team down to 10 men scores 3 times ??? How about https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DBAcaMqNyO0&t=580s and the final score was 4-1 and Charlie scored a penalty... I remember that like it was yesterday , there was so...

Re: Dartford v Braintree Town Sat 5 Nov 2022

A first half to forget , but a great second half from the Darts with a couple of quality goals worthy of any level . Not sure why Tom was sent off but it seemed to spur the Darts on to a well deserved victory. Many a candidate for MOTM but I’m going for Pierre Fonkeu , the lad run his socks off all ...

I know they said the crowd was 900 but it looked more like 700 to me. Anyone have any theories why it was so low?
I believe season ticket holders are automatically included wether they turn up or not?

What more is there to say ? Honestly we must be seen as the team that everyone wants to be drawn against in the cup matches ? Sudbury , Needham Market and now Beckenham for crying out loud ,what a joke . Congratulations Beckenham ,thoroughly deserved and good luck in the next round .

Re: Chippenham v Dartford Sat 3 Sep 2022

Good post from Taunton Dart . I will probably be told to move on as well ?🤔 but I will make this point , that the team as a whole lack that certain group of players that make up the beating heart of any great team , and we haven’t had that since those famous five of Burns, Harris, Noble , Bradbrook ...

Re: Dartford v Worthing Sat 27 Aug 2022

The first 15-20 minutes we were on top and got a deserved lead . At this point it looked like the team were getting the reaction that Douse was demanding especially after last week’s disappointing performance ,and if Luke hadn’t missed what was another golden opportunity to make it 2-0 the game may ...

Re: Dartford v Havant & Waterlooville Tue 16 Aug 2022

Deserved a point a least . Thought their first goal looked offside ? but with the linesman five yards behind the play he was never going to flag , whereas the lino on the other side couldn’t keep his flag down ? I don’t usually moan about the officiating but the ref was very poor , and that’s being ...

Re: News from around the National League South

Betting for the National league South has The Darts at 8/1 second favourites behind the noisy neighbours who are currently 9/2 . Interesting that the new boys from Worthing are only 12/1 ?

Another positive with king getting the sack.
Without reigniting the Steve King debate,
I think it would be a good idea to reserve judgement at the end of season ?

Re: NEW FIRST TEAM MANAGER: ALAN DOWSON

He done an exceptional job for Woking and was eventually sacked for what Woking deemed a poor season in the National ? Apparently he wasn’t happy with the way they informed him of his dismissal (a 20 second phone call apparently? ) and has now washed his hands off that club. Welcome to Dartford Alan...

Some great goals especially the team goals , but I would go for Jacks goal against Tonbridge , awkward ball to control but he made it look simple .
