Not really for this thread but received the Watling Street book this week. Definitely worth getting a copy as it contains many photographs through history and a reminder of some great games at the old ground. Still get a bit moved by the demolition photos, but of course grateful for Princes Park. COYD

Absolutely agree about Kory. Trouble is I think he used to travel down from up the country with Dinanga. He is bound to find a club at a decent level.

A quite like both and think I might have to get both.

From memory we have tried stripes a few times - the broad stripe at Wembley, the diagonal black 'sash' stripe in the early 70's, the worst the 'two tone' check braces design. Didn't mind the 'sash' kit.

Agree with Spike, reserving judgement to see who else is coming through the door. Alex and Charlie particularly will hit the target regularly even if they do not start or finish regularly or even on the pitch at the same time. We know defensively we are really good but a key lesson from last season ...

Sounds like a good appointment and a good fit for the club. His record (i.e. predominantly promotions) is something I am really looking forward to. I would like to think that the club already has targets it wants to sign ahead of the new manager coming in. Then again the reality is that out of contract or non-contract players are seeking to ensure they have a club to play for next season. Ade has been attracted to training three mornings a week...

Alex Wall has left H&W. Can still hit the ball - however he did miss the practice goal & net and knocked the light fitting under the car park end stand when we played them last.
