Re: Tom Bonner

Duke, I don't think Tom's reputation will ever be in doubt with the real DFC supporters. In my mind, he has cemented his place in the all time greats lists, alongside Steve Connor. Thanks for your service Tom and carry on cashing in. Was Steve better than Colin Johnson? God those two were rolls Roy...

Re: Dartford v Havant and Waterlooville Sat 21 Oct 2023

I'm quite surprised that nobody commented on the ref's performance. I thought that he was equally bad for both teams and just let too many fouls go by. There was a blatant push on Havant's first decent chance, which was just baffling and on another day could have cost us. The most surprising aspect ...

Re: Dartford v Havant and Waterlooville Sat 21 Oct 2023

The turnover of players from our last 2 managers has been unacceptable and both have managed to annoy me in equal measure. Then again, don't all managers annoy us with their decision making at some point in time and just maybe, Dowse & SK have more in common than you think with their conveyor be...

Re: Tom Bonner

It hurts to see Tom signing on for another club, especially after that long winded retirement saga unfolded during the summer. He has gone and there is not a lot we can do, especially if the club has a very large war chest to play with. Personally, I think we ain't done too bad on the defensive fron...

The guy has made more comebacks than Joe Bugnor. Good luck to him, but not against us.

Re: Dartford v Tonbridge Angels Sat 23 Sep 2023

I didnt go yesterday so do NOT have any views on the match but the one thing that stuck out was that we had no strikers on the bench , Alex Wall still injured and has not/hardly figured this season and Charlie Sheringham once again absent [ reason ??] and that is just not acceptable. You are right ...

Re: Dartford v Tonbridge Angels Sat 23 Sep 2023

Despite all the doom and gloom on here, I am still looking forward to the game and on paper we still have some very good players and if we have a full squad to choose from then I would go with the team below, based on what I have seen so far this season. If we go 3-5-2 then I would not mind seeing B...

Nearly all the seats are taken up and another 200 plus standing behind the perimeter. Admittedly, a lot of empty spaces out in the sun but that's hardly surprising.

Re: FA Cup 2nd Qualifying Round - Dartford v Welling Sat 16 Sep 2023

It’s becoming obvious defeat Saturday and pushed or walked Dowse has to go I think that is just a bit of wishful thinking on your part, as well as a few more on here. Anyway, for someone who has been black balled by the club you seemed to have quite a bit to say for yourself. Really hope Dowse prov...

Re: St Albans City v Dartford Sat 9 Sep 2023

In the current situation I really cannot see the point of having a "meet the Manager " as many [ incl me] have switched of from listening to him for the many reasons listed on here by the sensible/ genuine fans . Dowse needs to get his Management team together and formulate a positive pla...

After being stuck in traffic for over an hour trying to make the crossing, I am so glad that I didn't turn around to miss all the excitement of an away win, although, I still missed the first 15 minutes!
