Re: Steve King

P.S Dfc won more this season than Ebbsfleet and we didnt spend a million quid plus to do it. Kingy lost in the play offs and gets tinned. The german loses in the play offs with a million pound a year budget and gets a two year extension. Am i seriously that wrong in my views. Im leaning on Kentc BA...

Re: Steve King

Will be interesting to hear what Steve King has to say ? whether there are any contradicting reasons as to why he was sacked ? Will wish him all the best wherever he ends up , maybe Eastbourne at a guess ?

Re: Kent Senior Cup Final - Dartford v Folkestone Invicta Tue 17 May 2022

Good to win something at the end of what was a mixed bag of a season . The 6-2 scoreline is a little flattering ,with four of our goals coming in the last 10-15 minutes , up until then it was pretty even contest with both teams creating chances ,and Folkestone having two goals disallowed for offside...

Re: Should we go full time if the finances allow?

We need ambition to be promoted and to go full time otherwise what is the point of it all 100% agree with this. We need to make the right noises to keep fans' interest. If it's just the same ol' every season of nearly getting out of the National League South, floating non-league fans will spend the...

Congratulations to Chippenham .Can’t be bothered trying to summarise the game , just thought we were poor and got what we deserved . So off to Chatham on Tuesday night and hopefully win our customary KSC ?

Re: Dartford v Braintree Town Mon 2 May 2022

Could of ,should of of been 3 down by half time but for some last ditch defending . Braintree came into this game knowing they had avoided relegation and their fans were singing and celebrating the fact , so no pressure on their team to perform , and they obliged by outplaying us for most of the fir...

Re: Dartford v St Albans City Sat 23 Apr 2022

As Park Life has said already , the match did have an end of season feel about it . St Albans looked average at best , but did threaten on occasion and got their deserved equaliser, but I always thought the Darts had enough to see the game through and deservedly took all three points with Kieren Mur...

Re: Dartford v Maidstone Mon 18 Apr 2022

Playing Friday must of had an effect on our teams fitness levels today because they looked tired ? We were second best for much of the game and lucky not to lose by a greater margin but for Dan in goal ? Disappointed but not down , we still have the play-offs to look forward to I think ? Not sure wh...

Re: Hampton & Richmond v Dartford Sat 26 Mar 2022

Good three points for the Darts , I feel the 1-0 scoreline flattered H&R ,it could of been more if we weren’t so wasteful in front of goal ? That said I thought we were comfortable throughout the game with them hardly testing Dan in goal .Carruthers looks a decent player, and I think Steve King ...

Re: Hungerford v Dartford Tue 22 Feb 2022

Commentator suggest we should of been 3-4 goals up at HT ? So putting all the that went on with the oppositions antics , we have only ourselves to blame again for not finishing teams off when we’re dominating matches . Hungerford players and especially Wilmoth , (the bloke with the rubber legs) are ...

Re: Dartford v Bath City Sat 19 Feb 2022

Gritty win. I’m no tactician but I still can’t fathom out why Danny Leonard is warming the bench whilst Murtagh still starts every week despite continual criticism of the latter. I know, different positions and all that, but there’s still something wrong with our attacking midfield and an ability t...

Re: Dartford v Bath City Sat 19 Feb 2022

Not a great game to watch but three points is all that matters in the end . I thought Murtugh had a good game today so my MOTM vote . Good attendance considering the horrible weather , and well done to the 10- 20 Bath Supporters who made the journey .

Maybe a good thing having it postponed ? Three games in less than a week on top of the travelling involved is never a good outcome for any level and especially Part time .

So disappointed with the performance today I wasn’t going to bother with a MOTM vote , but just for effort it has to be IMO Danny Leonard .

Re: Fa Trophy 5th round Needham Market v Dartford Sat 12 Feb 2022

We were absolutely outplayed from start to finish ,so no excuses . I can go on about the referee and linesman being home bias but that won’t retract from the fact of us being poor throughout . Move on : another forgettable trip to Suffolk .
