Brilliant for Bromley, just shows what can be done locally, not to long ago we were facing Sutton and beating them 6 - 1 !
I can remember us playing Forest Green Rovers at Erith and Belvedere old ground, some significant investment made. I wonder if Dorking will be next !

A rather experimental side it would appear ! A couple of first team regulars supplemented by several from the youth team.

Re: Should we go full time if the finances allow?
I very much doubt full time is possible, if it were then I expect we would be full time already. There are several local clubs such as Bromley and Sutton who have gone full time and had real success in recent seasons, there are also clubs such as Dulwich, Dover and Havant who will be in a similar po...

Re: Dartford v Chippenham Thu 12 May 2022 19:45
Disappointing end to a frustrating season, overall we seem to get ourselves into a good position only to lose when it really matters, for example tonight, in the FA cup 4Q, in the trophy last 32 both against lower league opposition, and in the league against Braintree when the pressure was on to win...

Is there any possibility of this game being streamed ? I am sure there are several exiled supporters of both clubs who would subscribe in a similar way to the COVID games played behind closed doors.

Re: Dartford v Braintree Town Mon 2 May 2022
Sums up the season for me, an outstanding performance on the Saturday followed by an average performance on the Monday.
We may still sneak up via the play offs, in a one off game we can beat anyone but after today we have made it more difficult for ourselves.

Re: Slough Town v Dartford Sat 30 Apr 2022
Excellent result, back up to third with two tricky matches left to play. Will be very interesting end to the season as home advantage and avoiding the extra play off game could be crucial. On our day are capable of beating any team in this league so once we are in those play offs we have a reasonabl...

KSC final should be played this season, a date should be found that suits both clubs.

Re: Dartford v Maidstone Mon 18 Apr 2022
I agree Dorking were a far better Football team, however Maidstone are exceptionally good at what they do, no nonsense defending, strong in the midfield and with plenty of pace from their wide players and of course a striker who chaces everything down. They are are very effective outfit at national ...

Re: Billericay v Dartford Fri 15 Apr 2022
Very good away result, two goals a clean sheet and 3 points. This is the kind of result and the consistency required in the build up to the play offs. Looking forward to Monday, if we approach the game in the same way we did against Dorking I genuinely think we can win, I hope we go for it from the ...

Re: Dartford v Hemel Hempstead Town Sat 9 Apr 2022
With some players returning I expect we will be stronger for the play offs, we need to pull out all the stops in an effort to gain home advantage.
We have proved in a one off game we can beat the best, we have to pick up some form in the last couple of games.

Re: Player news
Pretty sure Charles-Cook played for Swindon against us in the FA cup a few years ago.
Always thought his younger brother was decent at CAFC as a young player and did well at Gills, think he is currently in the SPL.

99% of "fans" for both DFC and MUFC would be more than capable of standing next to each other and supporting their team in the appropriate manner. There are however a small minority of idiots from both clubs who will come to the game with the expectation of making the possibility of watchi...

Re: Dartford v Havant & Waterlooville Sat 19 Mar 2022
We need to aim for the highest possible place in the play offs now, can't really see us making up the points difference. Hopefully in the run in we can get a settled squad and starting 11, another injury today, with George going off early on the game. With several games to go and clubs like Havant m...

Bizzare, third manager of the season for the Welling, genuinely hope they stay up. Thought Taylor would be given more time.
