Re: Kent Senior Cup Semi Final - Welling v Dartford Tue 26th Apr 2022
How can the playoff final not be held until next season if you won't know which league you'll be in before next season?

Do we know yet who we've got in the final?

Re: Dartford v Maidstone Mon 18 Apr 2022
Re parking: another option I sometimes take is the Council car park by the station. It is usually open and empty on bank holidays, and it's just down the stairs to the Fastrack B bus stop (free to bus pass holders).

Re: Dartford v Maidstone Mon 18 Apr 2022
Hello Duke, at 2pm I would expect there to spaces over the road, brent lane etc. Brent Lane, close to the garage, is where I sometimes park, but I can't help wondering how easy that will be, given it's a Bank Holiday Monday and there will probably be lots of locals home. My alternative is usually P...

Re: Oxford City v Dartford Sat 2 Apr 2022
Maybe it was a bit too much to expect a team with so many new and recent additions to gel well enough together to get the result we would have liked

Re: Ticket information - Dartford v Maidstone Mon 18 Apr 2022
If tickets for DFC supporters are available only from the Champions Bar in person, it would be quite a logistical problem for Maidscum fans to pack out our end of the ground, wouldn't it?

Re: Ticket information - Dartford v Maidstone Mon 18 Apr 2022
So if Maidstone supporters will be in the car park end, the cars of all DFC supporters using the car park will be vulnerable to vandalism...? Think I'll park down Powder Mill Lane. Also. if ticket-only but none available online, does that mean the only option is in person at the Champions Bar? If so...

Re: Dartford v Havant & Waterlooville Sat 19 Mar 2022
Changing the subject, maybe, but I couldn't help thinking we didn't take enough account of the strong wind today - too much of the high ball and not enough of ball to feet. Although maybe the way H&W played didn't allow us to? I can certainly see why they're top of the form table - often 10 men ...

Re: Dartford v Chelmsford Tue 15 Mar 2022
"Sine die" means without any specific date being mentioned. It needn't necessarily mean "forever". A specific date may have been set at a later date. Besides, Chelmo's Vaz is apparently only 19, so he can hardly have been banned "some years ago", surely? Maybe it was so...

Perhaps they already had him lined up and were just waiting for the opportunity to sack Taylor. What a way to run a railway (or 96 bus).

IF Kingy was in hospital on Saturday (= being "injured"), does that mean his stadium ban won't have started yet?The 5th Searcher wrote: ↑Sun Mar 13, 2022 5:11 pm I could be wrong but I think Kingy is also on a stadium ban after his 2nd sending off this season a couple of weeks ago.
Hope Kingy is back to health soon.

Re: Kent Senior Cup 2nd round Dartford v Dover Tue 8th March 2022
I didn't realise that it was our new guy Jordan Greenidge who scored both our goals, I might have cast my MOTM vote differently if I had. Kingy certainly knows where to find 'em, doesn't he? :D And those video clips - shows just how incompetent the referee was. Perhaps somebody should send them anon...

Re: Dartford v Dorking Sat 5 Mar 2022
On the whole our young supporters are very well behaved. It's no good just banning them, they need to be educated and maybe a visit to the control room to chat with our excellent safety officer is all it requires. I would also recommend Jeremy or Dave Skinner brief them before the game, just drill ...

Re: Player news
I'm confused. The first reports I read of Junior Tiensia's removal from play in the Brentford B match was that he was injured. Subsequent reports said he was sent off. Now the club's statement on the loan signing of Jayden Sweeney says he's been signed to cover for the nature of Junior's injury. So...

Re: Dartford v Dorking Sat 5 Mar 2022
Great result! Some of the best football I've seen from us this season. Three very well taken goals and a thoroughly deserved win (although the old ticker was pounding in the last 10-15 minutes!). The title race is still on - shame that Maidstone and Oxford both won. I was impressed with the new loan...
