Re: Havant & Waterlooville v Dartford Sat 6 Apr 2024

Two excellent saves from Rhys towards the end. Let's hope the lad's are up for Tuesday and that Luke Allen maintains his form. I have a feeling we are going to need something from special.

Re: Havant & Waterlooville v Dartford Sat 6 Apr 2024

Sounds as though we are having a lot of hard luck this second half. Comme on the lads.
Very entertaining at the moment.

Re: Havant & Waterlooville v Dartford Sat 6 Apr 2024

Good luck the lads today. Hope we get something from it but not holding my breath. Fumnaya Shomotum should start in my opinion. But then, so should Bradbrook and Noble..

Re: Dartford v Eastbourne Borough Mon 1 Apr 2024

Blimey, that was hard going and I only saw eight minutes.
You got to admire Pennock's enthusiasm for the game and the next match. It's either that or he's Barking.
I'm normally enthusiastic myself, but Havant on Saturday?
I would be Barking.

Re: Dartford v Eastbourne Borough Mon 1 Apr 2024

I have said for some time that the majority of players that Dowse signed in the summer were of Isthmian league standard. I agree with Duke that we ought to keep Fumnaya and possibly Coulson. But do you think that a lot of them will be gone as they think they are better than Isthmian standard? That c...

Re: The state of Dartford football club

Sorry Keb but this all started with the appointment of Dowson and the failure to get rid of him sooner.
Biggest mistake this club has made.

Re: Dartford v Eastbourne Borough Mon 1 Apr 2024

Ajax, I thought that George Alexander was a very good goal scorer. Against us at Chelmsford he got two goals from inside the six yard box. How many goals did he get for us, inside the six yard box? How many goals did he get? The only one I can think of is the cushioned header against Yeovil. A delig...

Re: Chelmsford City v Dartford Fri 29 Mar 2024

We must give ourselves a big chance by winning on Monday. Nothing less is needed if we are to stay up. What else can you say. Ade is good at talking us up and I am sure that given a bit more time he would have kept us up. But one has to fear that it is all a little late. Still, I'm sure the lads wil...

Re: Chelmsford City v Dartford Fri 29 Mar 2024

Ade on kentonline is saying that the critic's do so at their own risk. I wish I had his optimism. Especially as going to Chelmo is not a favourite place to go to. I'm sure there's a lot of fans over there that would rejoice in seeing us beaten soundly and put to the sword.. One would like to think w...

Re: Dartford v Hemel Hempstead Town Sat 23 Mar 2024

From all of the six minutes of highlights that I saw and with the wooden beams obstructing the viewing I thought Fumnaya was very unlucky not to be on the scoresheet. :)
Other than that it was another day at the office. 2 points dropped.

Re: Dartford v Hemel Hempstead Town Sat 23 Mar 2024

Blimey, that was late. Excruciating standing at the Faversham match looking at my phone and seeing Dowson doing us over again.
Better late than never Steve with that post.
And we didn't lose. 🎯

Re: RIP Dave Skinner

Ah, that's sad news. Like Babylon I too played with Dave at Welcome FC. Certainly will miss the chap around the ground. Did so much to keep this club alive.
He will be missed by many in and outside the club.
RIP Dave. Great respect.🌹🎯
