Re: News from around the National League South
Just spotted this post on National Leagues's website with all the key dates for 2022/23 season.
https://www.thenationalleague.org.uk/ke ... tion-71003
We start on 6 August and finish on 29 April. Play-off dates also mentioned, so we can mark our diaries.

Re: NEW FIRST TEAM MANAGER: ALAN DOWSON
Seems a good and experienced appointment, and in fairly quick time to help settle anxieties among the team and supporters. Our Woking friends' endorsements are welcome and encouraging.
Should be exciting times again, and will be renewing season ticket with optimism (as always).

Re: Kent Senior Cup Final - Dartford v Folkestone Invicta Tue 17 May 2022
Well done. Pleased for those fans attending seeing what sounds a lively second half performance, and a cup presentation. Also good to see Ade back on the scoring sheet.
Two cups from same competition in same season must be some kind of record.

So Chippenham at home on Thursday as it stands, but plenty of twists yet?

Interesting to see that Havant & W play Chippenham on Saturday, with 7th place the target for both, and the right to be away to whoever finishes 4th - maybe ourselves? Chippenham need to win; draw enough for H&W.

Re: Slough Town v Dartford Sat 30 Apr 2022
Best afternoon out for several weeks with a complete all-round performance from the whole team. Kalvin on top form with the finished product this time; his run through to the box and cross giving Marcus a comfortable chance to score in the second minute gave the perfect start and confidence. Slough ...

Re: Billericay v Dartford Fri 15 Apr 2022
Fairly comfortable after a rather sluggish first half, with little real threat to either goal. Jake provided the missing spark immediately after half time, turning a defender, then receiving a return pass to cross perfectly for Jack to bundle home. He hit the post later and tried a long lob over the...

Re: Play off dates.
National League site in May 2021 advised dates between Wed 11th May to Sun 29 May for NLS and NLN, with exact dates to be confirmed. It doesn't seem to have been updated since then.

Re: Oxford City v Dartford Sat 2 Apr 2022
Disappointing after the boost of an early penalty, but draw was a fair result on the day. Both central defences very strong giving strikers little space to create chances. Danny closely marked and several passes to him overhit, whereas their wingers seemed to have more space allowed by the new full-...

Re: Oxford City v Dartford Sat 2 Apr 2022
Concession just bought, but like M1South it wouldn't let me pay until I ticked box for their email newsletter, which I can presumably delete later. £2 less than if buying at the turnstile tomorrow. Engineering works on my train line into London, so it's a cross-country drive from NW Essex, hoping I'...

Re: Hampton & Richmond v Dartford Sat 26 Mar 2022
Well done team. Typical as I had to turn back after being stuck on A1M near Stevenage for over an hour due to bad accident, then diverted off with not enough time left to make it worthwhile - and had bought ticket in advance! Pity there was no commentary, but able to follow Twitter updates, so thank...

Re: Fa Trophy 5th round Needham Market v Dartford Sat 12 Feb 2022
Difficult conditions with a very strong wind blowing down the pitch, which seemed bobbly, but no excuse for such a disappointing disjointed effort. No help from ref, but we wasted too much effort moaning and contesting fouls and yellow cards. Fairly even first half, then fell away until the last 2 l...

Re: Dartford v Ebbsfleet Tue 1 Feb 2022
Good luck to everyone tonight; bit too far for me these days for midweek evenings. I notice that mention of former players walking up Snowdon for charity is tacked on to the first information post, which could easily be overlooked. More details under the Any Other Discussion link, but it ought to be...

Well that's a lovely surprise having just returned from Ireland with no Internet until a few minutes ago. Good to see Danny among the goals to help his and the teams confidence. Now for some home wins!
