Re: Maidstone v Dartford Tue 9 Jan 2024

Yes I suspect we may get a result at Maidstone after their heroics in the Cup and especially if they get a great draw in the 4th round their minds might not be on a rearranged Tuesday night league game. And if our team raise their game and play like they did in the two fixtures against Ebbsfleet las...

Re: Player news

Brendon Barzey scores with a freaky cross/shot as Hemel Hempstead beat the side that stuffed us St Albans by 2-1. Shaun Jeffers who always seems to score wonderful goals against us is sent off.

Re: Ebb$fl££t in the news again!

The Kuwaiti Chairman of Ebbsfleet for the last 10 years Abdullah al-Humaidi has stood down after being declared Bankrupt recently. His cousin will take over the job, let's hope he likes football. The family of course are involved in the proposed Theme Park which appears to have collapsed.

Re: Tonbridge Angels v Dartford Sat 16 Dec 2023

Just watched Tonbridge's excellent highlights on You Tube ( sorry I don't know how to transfer them onto this site), but a very strange incident in the 2nd half when Harvey appears to put a Tonbridge player in hospital with his elbow. Mo Diarra then appears to remonstrate with Harvey Bradbury and gi...

Re: Dartford Players of The Past

Tom Bonner sent off playing for Cray Wanderers at Hastag Utd. Andy Pugh scores two for Phoenix Sports but 38 year old Ryan Hayes scores another beauty in their 3-1 win over Ashford Town.

Re: Dartford v Chelmsford City Tue 7 Nov 2023

Did seem a strange thing for Luke Coulson to do, it did kick off the pushing and shoving and I suspect made the Referee GUESS at what had happened though the highlights seem to show Harvey swing an elbow. A great save from their keeper to keep out Max Statham's header.

Re: Dartford v Chelmsford City Tue 7 Nov 2023

Another depressing evening at Princes Park, was it that long ago we were beating Luton and Mansfield and Newport on Tuesday evenings in front of decent crowds and had a very decent team. At the moment we have mid-table written all over us. As for the officials it is a thankless job but at this level...

Re: FA Trophy 2nd Qualifying Round - Dartford v Maidstone Sat Nov 18 2023

Have the FA done away with replays in this competition, is it Extra time or straight to a penalty shoot-out to decide the winner?

The 20 comments after the Steve King Twitter interview from the H&W fans are pretty critical, you better start winning soon Steve otherwise it may be a short appointment.

Re: Eastbourne v Dartford Tue 24 Oct 2023

According to Eastbourne Borough twitter or X whatever they call it now the attendance was 1301. A very decent crowd for a damp Tuesday night. Not quite as good as Yeovil's crowd of 6289 which saw the League leaders beat Weymouth 2nil.

According to the Dowse interview on Kent online today Tom Bonner is unlikely to play against us on the 21st due to work commitments?

Re: Tom Bonner

Like most Dartford supporters I am amazed Tom has gone to Havant & Waterlooville, I thought their fortunes had well and truly tumbled since their former Manager/Money Man/Director of Football Paul Doswell left the club earlier this year. Unless they have found another moneyman I can't believe th...

Re: Statement from the board - 19 September 2023

Can we stop the squabbling Gentlemen and get to the point in hand, is Alan Dowson the right man for Dartford FC. Somebody posted a few weeks ago we were lucky to be beaten in last seasons playoffs can you imagine this team in the National League. Looking at the boards statement we are stuck with him...

Re: Dartford v Slough Town Tue 5 Sep 2023

The young kid from West Ham must be wondering what he has let himself in for, he was the only bright light in our side reminded me of a young Lee Noble. Yes we do have a lot of injuries but some of these players do seem injury prone. I thought the attendance wasn't bad for a Tuesday night and consid...

Re: Dartford v Hampton & Richmond Tue 15 Aug 2023

When we failed to take that golden chance to go 2 up in the 2nd half I thought it might come back to bite us on the arse, I believe it was Luke Allen who put it past the post good player but not a great finisher. With regard to Barzey's sending off in todays football it was a straight red and he was...

Re: News from around the National League South

Welling Utd have announced plans for new facilities at Park View Road together with builders Lita Homes. It seems part of the plan consists of building 115 new homes in a regeneration for the area, but where would they build 115 new homes?.

Re: Player news

Along with Bradders, Lee Noble and Haysie a great Dartford player of recent times, how will we replace him?. I can understand why Tom and Connor with young families of course want to spend more time with them and next seasons travelling in the National league south will be crazy with so many teams f...

Re: News from around the National League South

Oxford City a team with a micky mouse ground limited support and a poor 3G pitch which must be like playing football on porridge have succeeded where we failed and gained promotion. I will admit they did look a very decent team and it will be interesting to see if they survive in the National League...
