Re: Kent Senior Cup semi-final Dartford v Maidstone Tue 19 Mar 2024

Maidstone have gone full strength it looks like

Result not important tonight, all about getting through it without injury and giving minutes to those who need them

Re: Dartford v Maidstone Utd Sat 16 Mar 2024

While this is a horrible way of looking at it and negative, but what else can you be right now. We must keep hold of 21st place at least just incase there is a reprieve. Yes awful way of looking at it but crucial none the less. Eastbourne now only 1 point behind and come to us in a couple of weeks ...

It's the Keeper, defence, midfield, attack

Everywhere is a problem.

Re: Dartford v Maidstone Utd Sat 16 Mar 2024

First half we did okay and probably slightly the better side however we didn't trouble their keeper at all. 2nd half was a shambles and much of what we've seen this season. We go a goal behind and there's 0 fight anywhere on the pitch. Terrell is a liability, far too error prone, it looked like the ...

Re: Dartford v Maidstone Utd Sat 16 Mar 2024

Not expecting much will be there regardless, hopefully I am surprised and we manage to come away with something and other results go our way too. I'm also surprised at the lack of reinforcements. Noticed home tickets are now being sold on the gate when we were previously told that they would be unav...

Re: News from around the National League South

Havant 2-1 Slough

Another relegation threatened team that's picked up points in recent weeks threatening a late survival charge.

Re: News from around the National League South

Another team dragged in, however we still need to get a heap of points on the board for it to mean anything to us. Torquay have a good enough squad to get enough points to stay up even with that deduction.

We've won 1 game this year and that was against Dover from the penalty spot.

It's extremely optimistic.

That makes it worse. Manager hasn't got a clue.

Re: Braintree Town v Dartford Tue 12 Mar 2024

Not for the first time this season. New signing brought in to try and save us and he gets himself sent off. Absolute shambles.

I hope the board have a plan for when we go down because they certainly had no plan for when things went wrong this season.

Never did I think we would be relegated.

Re: Braintree Town v Dartford Tue 12 Mar 2024

I fail to see how a manager who has watched our previous games in case he was appointed has completely left out Olly Box two games in a row? Need to trust him, so much goes on behind the scenes we don’t know about. He knows what he’s doing. Can't really use the "behind the scenes" excuse ...

Re: Player news

A centre half much needed, our back line has been far too error prone this season and hopefully Ronny can tighten it up and hopefully help us to some clean sheets and points.

Welcome.

Re: Last 10 games

Looking at each fixture individually, I predict 8-10 points maximum from them, leaving us on 48 points maximum which I don't think will be enough to stay up. I expect Eastbourne to overtake us in the coming weeks, with 2 home games against Dover/Taunton coming up and Taunton will inevitably get some...

Re: Torquay Utd v Dartford Sat 9 Mar 2024

I’m not quite ‘getting’ the Board criticism. Unless I’m absolutely missing something. They appear to me to be doing a bloody good job. The Club is healthy. Ok, a shit season and we know where the blame for that lies. But weren’t we all kinda happy with the Board’s decision to appoint Dowson? Ok, I ...

Re: Torquay Utd v Dartford Sat 9 Mar 2024

Won't say what I think because it's not positive and the usual suspects will pile on me. Absolute disgrace from everyone at the club, excluding the manager as its far too late for him to do anything No mark, Yet again…. It’s not what you say, and again, I don’t disagree with a lot you say, in fact ...
