Re: News from around the National League South
Game at Taunton now OFF due to 2 hours of incessant heavy rain. Rumours now surfacing suggesting Taunton may soon be going into liquidation -heard it from one of my suppliers, who don't the football club as well, but not from my contacts at the club Geez, it's hard to know exactly how to feel about...

Re: Braintree Town v Dartford Tue 12 Mar 2024
I'm sure I saw somewhere, the interview Ady did last Friday described as a weekly interview. If so, maybe we will see one tomorrow. To be honest, I think that's more than enough as Dowse certainly put an end to my desire to hear the manager's thoughts. Ady seems to talk coherently and in a recognisa...

Re: News from around the National League South
Absolutely agree with Park Life. Clubs "passing the bucket" round and expecting other people to sympathize / help when they've been running up huge debts paying players wages they and more importantly, WE can't afford. They still sign them, but we don't. That's why they are losing 10 point...

Re: Braintree Town v Dartford Tue 12 Mar 2024
For a moment I was genuinely picturing you going through past results, past performances and forum opinions to come to your technical results. Then you made me laugh but unfortunately it’s simple and true. Looking forward to Adys interview I'm glad I cheered you up. I usually get my mood boost watc...

Re: Braintree Town v Dartford Tue 12 Mar 2024
I've done some high level technical research and it seems to me that our failures are the result of two major problems. It's a bit technical, so I hope it doesn't go over anyone's head. 1. We don't score enough goals. 2. We let too many goals in. Further analysis of these problems has led me to the ...

Just to clarify, Olly is not injured and is eligible to play if selected. ... and he travelled to both games.

Re: Braintree Town v Dartford Tue 12 Mar 2024
Leaving out Olly from the squad for the second time in a row is a strange one. The lad gave us a spark of hope and it must feel like a right kick in the teeth for the fella. It's a very unpopular move by Ady and I've yet to speak to a Darts fan who understands it. It's not like we have better option...

Re: Last 10 games
I'm not saying Eastbourne won't finish ahead of us, I'm saying that they are very unlikely to finish ahead of Taunton or Truro. So by my reckoning, if by some miracle we DO manage to finish ahead of one of those two, then we would in all probability be ahead of Eastbourne and therefore safe. Unless ...

Re: Last 10 games
Looking at the league table, I would say that Dover and Havant are as good as relegated. Eastbourne are not likely to finish above Truro or Taunton and are probably goners too whereas Welling look to have found their mojo and are pulling clear of trouble. I don't think Dowse has enough time to disma...

Re: Torquay Utd v Dartford Sat 9 Mar 2024
To say someone's opinion is biased because it's different to your own makes no sense to me. We form our opinions based on our own experiences and our interpretation of the facts. Where does bias come into it?

That's harsh on Olly, not even making the bench. Interesting line up.

Re: Ady relishing fresh challenge
Lack of fitness might explain all those late goals. I think the focus of the previous regime was mainly on karaoke.
We might not have many points, but boy can we bang out a tune.

Re: Player news
A good signing and welcome addition. Jordan is a bit of a handful, has an eye for goal and his shot certainly packs a wallop. Great start from our new gaffer.
