Re: Dartford v Hampton and Richmond Sat 24 Sep 2022

An important 3 points in the bag! Give the team and fans a taste of success and it could be catching. Definitely room for improvement, the team still look a bit disjointed, but 5 changes from last week so you expect that. Hopefully it will be small changes to the starting 11 Tuesday and they can pic...

Re: Dartford v Worthing Sat 27 Aug 2022

When I said expectations should be rained in, I meant for us to expect to just pick up where we left off was perhaps naive. Time should have taught us that any team in this league can beat another if you play like we did 2and half, but that can be fixed, cant it?!. I wasnt present for the Havant gam...

Re: Dartford v Worthing Sat 27 Aug 2022

Well the theory of lets see where we are after 10 games or so has gone out of the window. Sick of hearing about our ex manager to be honest, do we keep going on about the burman days?! no so let's move on, and remember it's a vastly changed squad and management team. I know we all care about the clu...

Re: Dartford v Worthing Sat 27 Aug 2022

First game for me this year. Quite enjoyed the first half, second half the time wasting and play acting of the Worthing team was embarrassing, still it was their tactics that worked, frustrated us and eventually grabbed the winner as we were all over the place, and lacking the ability / will to keep...

Re: New home and away kits for next season

That is not a Dartford home kit at all, stripes? We are not Newcastle or Bath City, we have white tops, disappointed with this tbh. I recall a half black half white home kit when we reforrmed, which was good, and I think it was red and white strip away (could be wrong on that). But not a fan if the...

Re: Player news

I will wait and see regarding Wall and Sheringham. They are both very experienced and although a lot of fans will possibly have doubts a combination of one of them with a younger striker like Roberts up front might just pay off. They wont be the managers choice  Expect his hands are firmly ti...

Re: NEW FIRST TEAM MANAGER: ALAN DOWSON

Back to buisness. Seems to be a suitable replacement for King. Looking forward to an interview with the new boss soon. I would like to think as others have suggested, there will be a good few players (who will want to stay on at DFC), that will wait and see if they feature in the new bosses plans, b...

Re: Steve King

Late hearing the news. Thank you to King, for some really great football over the years. Sadly we never got across the line, just one of those things I suppose. He will do well at this level somewhere else. Hopefully we will find a suitable replacement, more in line with the perhaps more reserved bu...

Re: Dartford v Chippenham Thu 12 May 2022 19:45

It was a tight game, echo what others have said re the long ball on the wet ground. But that must have been our game plan, unfortunately they were set up to be hard to break down and it paid off, dont agree that we were poor as either team could have nicked a winner IMO I like King but would like a ...

Re: Play off dates.

Dates as seen by Futures White are confirmed today on National League website:- https://www.thenationalleague.org.uk/vanarama-national-league-north-south-play-off-deta-70499 Looks like the possibility of both semi finals being on Sunday the 15th to avoid clash with FA Cup final, if both clubs agree...
