Re: Player news

Feel sorry for Mitch, but the needs of the club come first. Probably a panic signing in the first place, and didn't impress Douse and co.

Re: Dartford v Weston-super-Mare Tue 31 Oct 2023

If we can put in performances like the second half the attendances will improve, can't recall a midweek league game that low for some time. As it has been suggested, watching dire football will not get the floaters back through the doors. On the note of the yoof policy, I have a niece who attended 5...

Re: Dartford v Weston-super-Mare Tue 31 Oct 2023

Seems like a complete turnaround second half, glad to see those who could make it rewarded after a poor first half. Playoffs are still well within our reach this season if we can find some consistency. I have had to make my opinion up through media only so far this season, but it feels like we are c...

Re: Player news

Well that was a short lived retirement ;) Kingy was able to persuade him back quite quickly too... makes you wonder what's the real story. Tom was a good servant to this club regardless, so just treat it as any other ex Dartford player we like.

Re: Statement from the board - 19 September 2023

I think the thread should have stayed on the first team discussion page. Probably with good reasons it was moved, however for all those that want to debate it, you could in this thread. I can't believe what we have become, arguing about which page a thread is on?! Personally, I think the best bet is...

Good luck today Darts, gutted to miss this one. Remember let's wait at least 10 games before jumping to any conclusions about the team.... If Mr zzz comes on later with any negative comments we will ignore them... Enjoy the game

Re: Dartford v St Albans City Sun 7 May 2023 @ 12.30

Gutted to lose today, especially on penalties. We started very well which was nice to see. Their keeper pulled off a few great saves and won it for them saving the first penalty, but we should have tested him more. Credit to all the players who took a pen today, not an easy task. I will forgive Sami...

Safe to say there will be a few nerves on Sunday. Hopefully the players are rested but chomping at the bit to be in the starting 11, or super sub should they be called upon. Coyds, just give it 110% that's all we ask. :D

Re: Concord Rangers v Dartford Thu 20 April 2023

Feel sorry for the fans that made the effort tonight, it seems clear from the comments we didnt impress. We seem to have run out of steam, same thing last season sadly. We are fizzling out, seemingly without a fight. I just hope this result will be a turning point for the team, and we see out the r...

Re: Dartford v Hemel Hempstead Town Sat 14 Jan 2023

Not a great watch today, you cant win them all as they say. First goal we gifted to them, but we responded quickly and should have kicked on. Then the 2nd goal against the run of play, and a bad time to concede. A draw still seemed possible with a bit of luck as there were some good deliveries into ...

Re: Cheshunt v Dartford Sat 7 Jan 2023

An important 3 points, well done Darts. First half we were up against it a bit, felt they were more likely to score (well they did in the end, theoreticaly). Second half we stepped up an scored twice to put the game to bed. However when they got 1 they pushed for a second, but we held firm and took ...

Re: Dartford v Ebbsfleet Sun 1 Jan 2023 @ 3pm

Considering the boxing day result, I fully expected a completely different scoreline today. Perhaps a far more cagey affair?! How glad I was to be proved wrong. Top performance today from all, a joy to watch. We got lucky not to concede a couple of times, but the defence and keeper kept the ball out...

Re: Change of admission policy for supporters 13 -17yrs old

I initially thought it sounded like a good idea in a way. However you would have thought there would have been a big discussion on when and how to implement it. It does unfortunately come across as somewhat rushed in. Considering they generally just cheer on the team, not ever seem much in the way o...

Re: Change of admission policy for supporters 13 -17yrs old

The club have made a mistake and need to rethink this. There was no atmosphere no noise and no drummer yesterday I am sure this will harm the efforts on the field eventually Just off the top of my head I believe the club should have an open day when they will register all the junior tickets at no c...

Re: Change of admission policy for supporters 13 -17yrs old

Hopefully the vast majority will still want to go for the football and behave, they can, with the youth membership card. Seems to make sense, I probably would have liked the membership card to carry around as well. Maybe should have rebranded as free youth membership, mandatory for all of that age b...
