Re: Kent Senior Cup Semi Final - Welling v Dartford Tue 26th Apr 2022
This match has clearly excited very few fans. Less than twenty-four hours to kick-off and no mention - unless I have the wrong date. Both teams have far more important matches coming up. It will be interesting to see how each club lines up tomorrow evening.

Re: Press Release: London Stadium To Host Vanarama National League Promotion Final
Dreadful decision for non-league football. Soulless stadium where fans are too far away from the pitch and which is not designed to amplify crowd sound. Such a major match should be played at a major football stadium, not at a converted athletics arena. The clubs, players and fans have been short-ch...

Re: Dartford v Maidstone Mon 18 Apr 2022
What an anti-climax. Maidstone failed to impress me, but were still better than us in all areas across the pitch. We failed to register a single shot on goal. We had no help from a very ineffective referee (since when has an elbow been a yellow?), but he was not the reason that we lost. The match on...

Re: Dartford v Hemel Hempstead Town Sat 9 Apr 2022
Thank goodness that the anti football team we came up against today did not bring to an end our unbeaten record at home. It was two points dropped, not one gained, but I felt so happy to see us score in time added on for the constant diving and time wasting of our opponents. Sad to see King playing ...

Re: Dartford v Havant & Waterlooville Sat 19 Mar 2022
Disappointing to drop two points today. I feel that Havant had the best chance of the second half, forcing a very good save from Dan. We did not trouble their keeper at all. I believe that the penalty was the only save he had to make. I feel that we tried to use the wind too much in the second half,...

Re: Dartford v Havant & Waterlooville Sat 19 Mar 2022
I think it unlikely that all top six teams will win today. Provided that we do, we should be better placed tonight than we are at the moment. It is really important that we put together a strong run now to put pressure on all those around us. The title fight is not over yet.

Re: Dartford v Chelmsford Tue 15 Mar 2022
Great first half tonight. We were on fire and Chelmsford had no legal answer. Not sure what happened at half time, but Chelmsford came out on the front foot and we did not. Dan made a great stop to prevent an equaliser early in the second half and another great save late on. It never looked as thoug...

Re: Chippenham v Dartford Sat 12 Mar 2022
I have a feeling that Murtagh was sailing close to the wind last week, having been booked and spoken to. Looks like the wind may have blown just too hard this week. I guess the fourth was conceded as we threw caution to the wind in an attempt to gain a draw. Much rather that than accept our fate wit...

Dorking will not believe their luck. Second, third and fourth all losing.
Looks like it will be a battle to the end to finish second, unless Dorking throw it away.

Many thanks to the supporters on the Committee for organising the Race Night today.
Hopefully your efforts have raised a good sum of money for the club. I did my bit. Nine races and not a single winner.

Re: Fa Trophy 5th round Needham Market v Dartford Sat 12 Feb 2022
What a dreadful performance today. There is something about Suffolk and the officials that ply their trade in Suffolk that makes it pointless travelling to play there. However, top marks to the officials and helpers who made us very welcome and did a great job facing a crowd much larger than they ar...

Re: Dartford v Ebbsfleet Tue 1 Feb 2022
What a strange game. Like a slow burning fuse that never lit anything. It really did not feel like a local derby. I felt Ebbsfleet shaded the possession, but had no end product. What they managed to offer was well managed by Dan Wilks. We had one difficult chance and one easy won. Thankfully, the di...

What a great gesture from a group of guys that gave hundreds of hours of pleasure when playing for Dartford or other clubs during their playing careers. I wish them well in their endeavour.

Re: Tonbridge Angels v Dartford Sat 29 Jan 2022
My first away league game for far too long. Pleased with the performance although we are still overrun in the middle too often for my liking. Far more clinical in front of goal today. Three well taken goal and Ade was unlucky to be denied by a great save from their keeper. Could not work out what th...

Listening to the very good commentary. Hoping we can score a goal tonight, but it does not sound very hopeful. The only match in our league this evening without a goal.

Re: Dartford v Hampton & Richmond Sat 22nd Jan 2022 - 3pm
That was a very frustrating afternoon of football. Twice in the lead and making chances that should have seen the game dead and buried - but we did not take them. Not sure about the penalty decision, the striker constantly went to ground whenever he lost the ball. Two very tight calls by the lino, o...

Having watched the highlights of the Yeovil match, I suggest you get to the ground early if you fancy a pie!
Interesting to see how much the Needham keeper was moving before some of the penalties were taken.
It looked like an exciting finish to the match.

Re: Fa Trophy 5th round Needham Market v Dartford Sat 12 Feb 2022
Very pleased that if we progress, Halifax or Notts County and Wrexham or Boreham Wood will not. I would rather it was a home draw, but we probably go there as slight underdogs. That should do fine.

Re: FA Trophy 4th round Dartford v Weymouth Sat 15 Jan 2022
Much better first half from Dartford. Much more like early season form. Great goal and a second ruled out for offside. The ref let a lot go where there was an advantage and a few where there was not, so game flowed well. The second half saw a different Weymouth and a different approach from the ref....
