That's the first bit of good news that I have heard - hopefully Block will have more success with fitness next season.Bagdhad Billy wrote: ↑Sun Apr 21, 2024 3:19 pm

Re: Dartford v Truro City Sat 20 Apr 2024
We've had issues in several positions but i firmly believe if we'd had an experienced quality keeper all season we would have stayed up. Someone like....... let me think. Oh yeah Dan Wilks   Another master stroke of player management by........ On the keeper front - I think we would hav...

That's the nub of our whole dilemma - the season finishes at the end of April - most of our squad gave up at Christmas.......Lars Resort wrote: ↑Sun Apr 21, 2024 11:22 am Write up in the NLP re Stringer's shift at Welling. A team we were gloating at by saying they were 'dead and buried ' at Christmas.

Re: CONSTRUCTIVE IDEAS
Is this problem with communication from the club and the state of the website down to an age thing? I have raised the issue of the website with a member of the Board to be told that it has been a problem for a long time but that the emphasis of those dealing with communications seems to be more on F...

Re: CONSTRUCTIVE IDEAS
The people saying sack the Board are fully entitled to their opinions and in some way justifiably so. I was very critical of the tweet from a Board Member calling people to come and watch Olly Box before he moves on - not the message for an officer of the club to put out there. However all the calls...

Re: London Senior Cup Quarter Final - Cray Wanderers v Dartford Tue 16 Apr 2024
I felt we were the better side overall and deserved the win. The young academy lads did well and to be fair everyone can be pleased with their performance. We won and i was there so i'm enjoying it.... And then on to Hendon next week. The first time I saw Rob Haworth play was at Hendon First ...

Re: CONSTRUCTIVE IDEAS
A worthy note Taunton, I would add that the club need to interact with fans to let them know how best anyone with spare time can help the club too. It should be a two way thing I'd say. In my experience, albeit until I moved 8 years, every time the club asked for people to help it was generally a r...

Re: CONSTRUCTIVE IDEAS
My concern with all this, admittedly from afar, is that there are not many constructive ideas being put forward - more criticism of how things are with no solutions. This has always been the trouble with any club at any level. Everyone will tell you what is wrong, it comes naturally. A far smaller n...

Re: The state of Dartford football club
The club has been leader less for a long time.. Fans who are on talking terms with the board continually don’t state how bad the club is being run because they are their friends… This has allowed the board to be negligent with our club to the point we are the laughing stock of Kent football being o...

Re: CONSTRUCTIVE IDEAS
Questions from afar.- What are Chatham, and others, doing differently to get such large crowds? Apart from consistently winning they must be doing other things to generate interest. Are DFC making full use of the youth and women's sections to increase crowds? How big is the presence in schools and l...

Re: News from around the National League South
Big match for his first game in charge on Saturday. Hemel's only remaining game is away at Taunton. Of Taunton near either Torquay or Weston this week then that match could be a relegation decider..... Dowse has worked his wonders

Especially as Hemel's last game (their only one) is away at Taunton! Torquay do have the potential saving grace that their last game is at home to Havant and Waterlooville.
Thinking of going to Taunton next Saturday to cheer Dowse on to a double success!!! LOL

Awful. Pathetic. Are you actually at the game? No, as I've said countless times before I don't travel to away games. But I don't need to be to know what's going on following on here/twitter/commentary. Well I'm at Yeovil and s supporting the team - but if course that wouldn't fit your agenda of jus...

I was told at Taunton that a suspended player played in a drawn match against Aveley - but according to the media it was in another draw at Weymouth
