Re: News from around the National League South
They are not the only club in the South West with severe fixture backlogs, we have had continuous heavy rain for four months down here. The reservoirs, at the end of last summer, were estimated to need three years' worth of rainfall to re-fill. We have had so much rain that the reservoirs are now ov...

Re: News from around the National League South
I am reliably informed that it cost Taunton £1,600 to play their 'home' game at Gloucester City - with only 126 spectators they made a significant loss on the night

Re: John Stevens Home Player of the Year voting
All of us exiled supporters would have voted for Park Life for his unstinting loyalty and tremendous work in keeping us updated on matchdays. If the team had only matched 50% of his work rate we would be in the play offs

Re: News from around the National League South
Goal in 95th minute - Taunton are conceding a lot of late goals Naaaah. Maidstone were 1-0 up with a good half hour to go. I was going by a feed on Maidstone twitter that showed the score at 94 minutes as 0-0. Taunton must be even deeper in financial crisis as the crowd yesterday was 126 - not many...

Re: News from around the National League South
That's an extremely interesting development. As Taunton have Tuesday and Thursday matches in the next two weeks there is no other window in which to play Maidstone. However, Taunton claim they don't want it at Gloucester and are annoyed with the League BUT when we played Truro at Gloucester we were ...

Re: John Stevens Home Player of the Year voting
Best player I saw in a Dartford shirt this year was MacArthur - and he played in the game at Weston. After that was Woods, who was never used to his strengths. Both young loan players - they should have added to the squad, not looked the best on the pitch. Says it all

Re: Dartford v Eastbourne Borough Mon 1 Apr 2024
Only thing guaranteed is that we finish above Dover. I can still see one of Hemel or Torquay joining us in relegation - Eastbourne are certainly hitting form at the right time whilst Hemel & Torquay are imploding. We have hit rock bottom and I can't see where we get another point unless there is...

Great to see Tommy Block back in the line-up he has been a standout performer in the couple or recent games that I have seen.

Re: Chelmsford City v Dartford Fri 29 Mar 2024
Sodje looked knackered in the last quarter at Truro. Block has been regularly substituted so I would assume that this is game management for Monday which will be a must win game.
Great to see Oliver Box back.
