Re: Dartford v Carshalton Athletic Sat 26 Apr 2025
Go into this one having to win and needing the other two to slip up, as opposed to Monday where they won and we slipped up. It’s football, so there’s bound to be a twist in the tail (though this is much more likely to take effect on Billericay & Horsham than it is on us). We might get another ei...

Re: Cray Wanderers v Dartford Mon 21 Apr 2025
So Billericay top on 84 (+39); Horsham 2nd on 84 (+38) and Dartford 3rd on 84 (+31). Obviously not winning today has swung the odds hugely in favour of the top two, but due to goal difference, anything other than a win on Saturday would have been useless anyway. It’s football and when we lost at Lew...

Re: Cray Wanderers v Dartford Mon 21 Apr 2025
Is there plenty of parking wouldnt say plenty but i would maybe drive to the dutch house pub and have a swifty in there and park in there and walk down The Dutch House pub closed in 2016. The building is now partly a cafe and partly a builders merchants. It would take around 55 minutes to walk to t...

Re: Dartford v Dover Athletic Fri 18 Apr 2025
Great performance against a decent Dover team. MOM Olopade but the whole squad really did the club proud. We ain't there yet and Cray /Carshalton won't be easy But this team are playing as a unit and we are not relying on one or two individuals to supply the magic.. 100%. Pennock has managed to con...

Re: Dartford v Dover Athletic Fri 18 Apr 2025
So who saw the events at the end? I heard something about one of our players being decked and now read of Dover fans pouring beer over their own!? Not very impressive.
Two games to go. Nervous, but what a position to be in.

Re: Dartford v Dover Athletic Fri 18 Apr 2025
If we lose today & the other lot win, it is not over. If we win and the other lot lose, it is not (quite) over. Either one of these scenarios does happen though and it is going to feel like an incredibly decisive day.
Draws all round it is then.

Strange dream last night..sell out crowd at Dartford I watched the game from a sunbed on the roof.We won 1-0 with a 92nd minute winner from Jeremy Paxman who played in a suit.Dont know how the others got on though. Usually complete dross listening to other people’s dreams, but that’s a doozy. Sound...

Re: Dartford v Dover Athletic Fri 18 Apr 2025
Our east Kent chums would love nothing more than to spoil the party at PP. Not just to upset us, but they are technically still in title race and only a win will keep them in it mathematically. We would be exactly the same.
It’s a big game which I’m surprised isn’t segregated.

Re: Whitehawk v Dartford Sat 12 Apr 2025
Carruthers’ 20 minute cameo was an absolute masterstroke. Obviously props to Box for the finish (it may have gone in off a red shirt ultimately but will be Olly’s goal), but without that substitution the game probably ends 0-0 and a lot of vitriol from our camp. Whitehawk is pretty terrible, never r...

Re: How many points needed to win this league?
I'm just delighted that we're even having this conversation. Eight weeks later and not only is this topic pertinent, we’re a lot closer to judgement day. This club has given us a number of memorable season finales - I have the footage somewhere of Alex O Brien parading the Isthmian North trophy aro...

Go on then, I’ll play.
1311 & 3-1 Darts. Golden goal 13th minute.
Looks like a lovely day for it. Will be a bit of a Wanderers fan as well tomorrow!

Re: Cray Wanderers v Dartford Mon 21 Apr 2025
What is it, the socially-distanced stadium? Why would a new ground be built with such a low capacity? Doesn’t that scream unambitious?! If there’s a chance we can win the title on the day, we’ll surely bring >500. I’d like to think we’d number over 300 as a matter of course.

Re: Ticket Offer - Remaining 3 Games
That is a decent (albeit upside down) special offer. Presumably it is on the necessary socials, good marketing will bring in some big crowds to hopefully see the mighty Darts take the title!

Went through the GFT last month. There was a really fat busker down there which could explain the closure.
