Re: New kit launch

I know we all see players differently, but with respect to St Ives, l am amazed that Dan isn't playing at a higher level.

Re: Player news

Among those released by clubs was Barnet letting Moussa Diarra go - no surprise there given he was continually loaned out last year. No doubt he is waiting to see where Dowse ends up so he can get a contract and somewhere to lodge!! I thought l had read somewhere that Diarra had signed for Eastbour...

Re: Player news

Many of the players offered contracts don’t want to drop to the IPL, but they were all in a team that managed to get relegated from the NLS. Shame they didn’t try harder last season, or maybe they all ( mostly all ) were not good enough for the NLS. Or maybe they think they’re better players than t...

I'm amazed that any club at that level would want him
I'll be interested to see how he does at Hampton.

Time will tell if it was him or us that was the problem?!!

Re: Player news

Two very good signings and both can do a really good job for us especially at our new level , can see why Ade signed them and more of the same ethos will suit me I couldn't agree more Duke, two really promising signings. Just a bit nervous that they "....will sign when their contracts with Che...

Re: Player news

As much as I liked Jordan, who in my opinion was a loyal Dartford player, I did feel he had lost some pace last season. Whether that was due to being unfit or the fact that midfield was totally 'missing' in a lot of games, who knows? I am not worried by the lack of activity in signing players yet e...

Re: Player news

Baris Altintop , Braintree Captain and in Play OFF Final v Worthing - spot on Rambo !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yup, a class player who Dowson didn't have a clue about and lost him. I am really disappointed (though not entirely surprised) that Luke Coulson has left. Head and shoulders, the best footballer at th...

Re: Dartford v Truro City Sat 20 Apr 2024

Spike I agree with most of what you say most of the time but on this occasion it’s a no Coulson was dealt a bad hand by the clown in being made captain as he is no way captain material. However , he was the captain and on my view he is as culpable for our appalling season as the clown is. Coulson d...

Re: Pure DFC unofficial website

For a while now I’ve been posting match previews on the Pure DFC - unofficial website https://puredfc.co.uk/ I also read a few comments on here about the quality of the official website, which got me thinking… I’ve now added some new sections to the Pure DFC website. Although I don’t want to cover ...

Re: Dartford v Truro City Sat 20 Apr 2024

Surprised no one suggested keeping Nebhard. I'm not Fred. I wouldn't bother with him even he were interested in staying, which l doubt. Likewise Miller-Rodney, Wall, Greenidge and Wynter, all of whom were massively disappointing in the second half of the season. Allen and Block are regrettably too ...

Re: Dartford v Truro City Sat 20 Apr 2024

As bloody awful as this season has been, the facts are that if we had beaten Eastbourne we would now be favourites to stay up. Just that one result would have meant that we would have been in control of our own destiny today and may even have survived losing today against Truro. Small margins eh? I...

Ideas - a reserve/U23's team playing in a competitive league, (not a reserve league) it may bridge the gap for the talented current U18 team who have just won their league. Players/manager to acknowledge fans at the end of the game, whatever the result. Free season ticket for U16's. Free entry for ...

Re: CONSTRUCTIVE IDEAS

Really good idea Steve. I feel pretty sure that in a week or two, when the dust has started to settle on this car crash of a season, the Board will begin to honestly review where it all went wrong and what they could have done better, to avoid us turning from perennial play-off challengers into a re...

Re: The state of Dartford football club

We have to change our recruitment policy. Fundamentally that is what has cost us this season, poor quality signings from pre season and relying on loans is not sustainable. We've also not got out of the revolving door policy we've had since Steve King, I don't think we used as many players as King ...
