Another anxious afternoon. Hoping it turns around by the time our train from Cornwall gets us home as it did on way down last week.

Wow. Didn't expect that after following on train from frosty Bakewell to sunny Cornwall for walking week. On arrival at about 4.30 it was looking gloomy, but now what a lovely evening!
Well done to those there. Must have been a tough watch, but should have faith in the lads to turn it around.

Well done team, and to those diehard travelling fans. I must make an effort to get down to some matches in the run-in; it should be less stressful than sitting at home waiting and watching for forum updates!

Was told that Yussuf with Hornchurch today, and Dsane as well as Okoye injured.

Seem to have struck lucky for my first match of the season. Despite too many missed chances, we played much better than I'd expected. Some decent moves and energy and a well overdue win. Sorry Dave, was thinking that a point helped in the looming relegation battle, but I fear that it may be enough to allow the manager to limp on a little further, when some kind of change is clearly needed.

May be the wrong site, but just noticed on the Isthmian site that the Velocity Cup 4th Round was drawn today. A Kent derby away to Ashford, Margate or Sheppey. Last chance for a cup run to relieve the league gloom?
