Re: Dartford v Folkestone Invicta Sat 5 Apr 2025

Back from a family and friends visit down south, with an excuse to get to my second match of the season. Good to be there and see improvements to food hubs (although I don't go to eat), but difficult to say that I enjoyed the game. We must obviously have been playing better to justify our top positi...

Re: Lewes v Dartford Sat 8 Mar 2025

Another anxious afternoon. Hoping it turns around by the time our train from Cornwall gets us home as it did on way down last week.
Up the Darts. Maybe there next week?

Re: Dartford v Horsham Sat 1 Mar 2025

Wow. Didn't expect that after following on train from frosty Bakewell to sunny Cornwall for walking week. On arrival at about 4.30 it was looking gloomy, but now what a lovely evening!
Well done to those there. Must have been a tough watch, but should have faith in the lads to turn it around.

Well done team, and to those diehard travelling fans. I must make an effort to get down to some matches in the run-in; it should be less stressful than sitting at home waiting and watching for forum updates!

Yes, agreed. Surprised that Dan in particular hasn't been snapped up at NLS level.

Congratulations! But would have been hard to believe back in those gloomy Oct/mid Nov days, or that Ade could still be here.
Happy to eat humble pie. Keep it up you Darts.

Re: Folkestone Invicta v Dartford Sat 21 Dec 2024

Well done lads. Agree with others that I thought the season was a write-off after a dismal October. Quite a transformation since the start of November when we were 15th with 14 points from 11 games; 22 pts from 10 games since. Reason to hope and to be looking upwards again. Maybe worth a diversion t...

Re: Dartford v Cheshunt Sat 9 Nov 2024

Seem to have struck lucky for my first match of the season. Despite too many missed chances, we played much better than I'd expected. Some decent moves and energy and a well overdue win. Good support behind the goals and much applause at the end, of relief as much as anything. Josh in control at the...

Not sure how, Brian 😒
Sorry Dave, was thinking that a point helped in the looming relegation battle, but I fear that it may be enough to allow the manager to limp on a little further, when some kind of change is clearly needed.

Re: Isthmian Premier League News

May be the wrong site, but just noticed on the Isthmian site that the Velocity Cup 4th Round was drawn today. A Kent derby away to Ashford, Margate or Sheppey. Last chance for a cup run to relieve the league gloom?
