Re: Dartford v Hampton and Richmond Sat 24 Sep 2022
If you take into account our form towards the end of last season and the beginning of this one, including being on the wrong end of yet another FA Cup shock, then I'm not sure being at home is an advantage anymore.

Re: FA Cup 2nd round qualifying Dartford v Beckenham Town Sat 17 Sep 2022
I am pro Dowse but I do believe that he should save his criticism on players for behind closed doors as his comments could be seen as a deflection of his own inability to make the changes necessary in the current squad which it is obviously painfully clear to see , his interviews are now getting &q...

Re: FA Cup 2nd round qualifying Dartford v Beckenham Town Sat 17 Sep 2022
Dowson's come in late? Who's to blame for that then? He publicly declared himself available to return to the game well before the end of last season? Is that why he's been given two years? Have we really gone from being a progressive club to one now writing off an entire season? After our early exit...

Re: Dartford v Worthing Sat 27 Aug 2022
Most of Dorking injuries are of their own doing!! Playing & training on that shitty, rock hard, rubber balled artificial pitch of theirs!! Grass not Astro….Our planet needs worms to flourish!! (So we can hang them on a hook for our fishing trips!) Sounds reminiscent of the frogs legs saga. The ...

Re: Dartford v Worthing Sat 27 Aug 2022
Looking forward to the game tomorrow, hopefully we bounce back and prove Taunton was just one of those days. Worthing will be a very tough test and we will need to be at our best to get something from the game and I trust the lads to do so. I still don't agree with the comment saying "we are s...

If there's one thing that comes across in Dowes's post match interviews then it's his utmost respect for the fans. At this level without the fans you have no club.
Therefore, if there are players who are not up to the task or are under achieving they shouldn't be allowed to hide.

If there was a national award for the best informative and unbiased non-league radio commentary Radio Bath City would win it year after year.
By all accounts this was a good solid away performance by the Darts this afternoon.

No one wins anything pre-season. It's about fitness, formations etc. And most importantly you don't want to risk needless injuries before the season starts.
Dowse is a wily old dog. And if there were any representatives from Bath City watching yesterday they would have learned nothing.
Job well done.

The summer of '76 lasted several weeks. Fast forward to a Monday and Tuesday in July 2022 and a State of Emergency has been declared. If Snowflakeism brings the country to a halt then I'd be up for a 3am kick off. If the bar is not open then we should be permitted to bring our own booze, have a part...

Couldn't make it this evening but was in the area this afternoon and called in for a drink. I was the only person sitting outside the Champions bar so was chilling out while enjoying the weather. 10 minutes later Alan Dowson came out to join me. He said he saw me on the screen and just came out to s...

Re: Who do the real Dartford Fans want as the new Manager ?
I wonder where Kingy will go from here? To be sacked by a club like Dartford, which can hardly described as being run by a trigger happy board, other clubs might now think twice about appointing him.

Re: Steve King
I've still haven't quite got over what must be the worst penalty shoot out I've ever seen in the play off final versus Weymouth. All 3 off target. All 3 over the bar. By the time the third penalty taker stepped up surely you would have thought he'd be atleast thinking whatever I do just keep my bloo...

Re: Steve King
Could it be possible, that in order to satisfy his craving for attention, there could be an out of favour Websfleet fan incognito seeking refuge on another club's forum after handing Dorking Wanderers promotion to the National League?
