Re: Dartford v Hemel Hempstead Town Sat 23 Mar 2024
I'm not sure that all 3 of our new players will or should start tomorrow after Tuesday night's performance against M@id$tone£. It was refreshing to see what was in-effect our academy team giving those renegades a footballing lesson. I thought Olly Box & Alex worked well together and I would defi...

Re: Dartford v Maidstone Utd Sat 16 Mar 2024
And just where, at this time of the season, are so many good players going to be available to bring on? Not the best time to find ways to boost the playing staff. Good luck to AP on that search Maybe, we should have a word with Rod Stringer, he keeps finding them. That’s what good managers do…right...

Re: Dartford v Maidstone Utd Sat 16 Mar 2024
I think the club are now at that point where they need to roll the dice and back the manager to brink in 4 or 5 new players. The only question is whether there are funds available and whether the club are willing to gamble circa 35/40k or however much they can afford. Would love to see reinforcement...

Re: Last 10 games
The Hemel game coincides with Non-League day. The club should make an effort to get as many through the gate as possible and wouldn't it be nice to get one over the old gaffer.

Re: Braintree Town v Dartford Tue 12 Mar 2024
Well, it’s all beginning to unravel and not in a good way. I didn’t go last night but I guess that we played 3 at the back again. From the games I have seen this season, our best performances have been when we have played with one up top. Will be there Saturday with my boy but I can’t see us getting...

Re: Braintree Town v Dartford Tue 12 Mar 2024
Looks like a back three again, which appears to be the gaffer's preference. Would like to know why Ollie Box has not had a look in, this is just bizarre. I'm quite surprised the game is on after all the rain we have had.

Re: Last 10 games
As it stands our destiny is still in our our own hands but I feel that if we don't bring in the right replacements we will be down. With our present squad, I can't see us getting any more than 9 points from those remaining fixtures. The club needs to let the youth back into the stadium and get some ...

Re: Torquay Utd v Dartford Sat 9 Mar 2024
That is a very attacking line-up, I wouldn't be surprised if we are going to play 3 at the back.

Ultimately, it is what Ade does at Dartford that counts for me.

Re: Dartford v Aveley - Tue 27 Feb 2024
Once again, I cannot fault the effort from the team, they gave it everything against a very organised side. By not extending our lead when opportunities arose was always going to be a problem. Both goals were avoidable and those individual errors cost us the points and I have come to the conclusion ...

Re: Dover Athletic v Dartford Sat 17 Feb 2024
The A2 route is far the easiest as it more or less takes you to the ground. For those travelling the M20 route will have to navigate through the town. As for the game, I think we will come good today. Recent performances have shown improvement but I would like to see Adebowale start and swap Jordan ...

Re: New Manager.
I hope we don’t get a manager who has had a relegation, I think that has to be the No. 1 point on the checklist. We need someone young, hungry, successful and a decent human being like TB. Certainly don’t want a Pennoch, Hessenthaler or Rose old style manager. Personally, I think we should look outs...

Re: Bath City v Dartford Sat 10 Feb 2024
Thanks for the confirmation Rick. This was never going to be an easy game; gifting Bath a goal didn’t help matters but at least we finished the match strongly, which suggests that we are improving. I think we need to get behind TB and keep him in place to the end of the season. He will sort out the ...

Re: Bath City v Dartford Sat 10 Feb 2024
I make that 2 points from our last 6 games, which could possibly put us at the bottom of the form guide. Time to put Rooney further up the pitch and loose our holding midfielder.
