Re: Dartford v Worthing Sat 27 Aug 2022

Worthing started to play like a full Hungerford side towards the end of the game and I for one could see no reason for it. They had us encamped in our half and clueless as to what to do, hanging on for dear life???? Why resort to those tactic's? Add to that, I've never seen a keeper involved so much...

Re: Hemel Hempstead Town v Dartford Mon 29 Aug 2022

If Davide is still not fit I'd rather see Herschel start than Charlie or Alex, but for goodness sake give Pierre SOMEONE to play alongside him.

Re: Dartford v Worthing Sat 27 Aug 2022

I think you're being a bit harsh on some of the others Duke. For me, Carruthers again was outstanding but did fall into the trap of seeming to not know what to do second half. The long ball out by Worthing and two players converging on Samir, for him to control the ball first time and leave the pair...

Re: Dartford v Worthing Sat 27 Aug 2022

First off, I'm worried. If Spike, who I normally think puts a fair post in, ends with 'I'm worried' Then I'm worried. Second off, What was Wykes out for, injury? Because I certainly hope he was. No offence to Joe, who, lets face it, only touched the ball twice and that was to take it out of our net....

Re: Dartford v Worthing Sat 27 Aug 2022

It's like that famous novel by Remarque on here.
Let's hope for a response from our two defeats, although I did ask for a response from our first defeat.

Re: Alan Dowson | Midweek Update | 22/08/2022

I agree that every Dartford supporter want's Dowse to succeed at PP. There is only the odd perverse idiot's on here that seems hell bent on DFC's failure regardless as to who is in charge. So yes, stop 'beating yourself up' Dowse. I do agree with him that he needs a couple of players to compliment w...

I agree with you on Coulson, Carruthers, Rodari and Fonkeu. Luke Allen and Oduadu also Mickey.

Re: Taunton Town v Dartford Sat 20 Aug 2022

Probably because he thought he had a half decent squad Rambo. You have to admit you don't know just how strong your squad is until you start to mix it with the rest of the Division. I hope he has the know how to get some good players in because we certainly need a bit of stability and strength in th...

Re: Taunton Town v Dartford Sat 20 Aug 2022

Obviously people are not happy today. We can't say we should really have got something from this game. but the opening signings in the Summer didn't exactly set things alight for me. It was only the signings of Carruthers, Coulson, Rodari and Fonkeu that sparked interest. But it is what it is, no de...

Re: Taunton Town v Dartford Sat 20 Aug 2022

Looking at Taunton's playing staff, only one that I recognise and that is Ross Stearn, former Chippenham Town player.
Good luck to the lads this afternoon.
Hopefully get a win against unknown opposition. But probably not an easy game. ;)

Re: Dartford v Havant & Waterlooville Tue 16 Aug 2022

My first game Tuesday and like a few on here including Dowse thought that we were very unlucky not to have got something from the game. Yes, we lost our way second half but I thought we could have gone in at half time 2 maybe 3-1 up. spectacular save by Worner from Coulson late first half probably k...

Re: Dartford v Cheshunt Sat 13 Aug 2022

I dunno if I missed something as regards Lennylenny??? Poor lad. Liked the look of Rodari up front. I bet our friend down the road, Dennis, was grateful of the extra 10 minutes on Saturday. makes a change for him, but he'll probably let evreyone know that Fleet dominated the 99 minutes and deserved ...

Re: Dartford v Cheshunt Sat 13 Aug 2022

Fonkeu is buzzing by the sound of things. Disappointed to let a late goal in but concentration for 90+ minutes in that heat must be pretty hard.
Well done the lads. :)

Re: Dartford v Cheshunt Sat 13 Aug 2022

Any team taking Cheshunt as a cert is deluded. I was quite looking forward to the game as it, not only being the first home game of the season, (normally a done thing with me) and against fresh blood in the Division but also under new management. But unfortunately I won't be traveling up in the heat...

Riveting first half, went to sleep after going 2 up on a couple of occasions. Well done Pierre on the first goal and to some extent, the second. :)
