Re: Dulwich Hamlet v Dartford Sat 8 Oct 2022

We may be winning 'ugly', didn't exactly look great against DH, but we may as well enjoy the ride. Conor could have looked sharper on the goal and Samir still looking the best of the bunch. In the NLP today they have done a bit on Sevenoaks in the FA Cup against Ebbsfleet saying that Fleet are the o...

Re: Dulwich Hamlet v Dartford Sat 8 Oct 2022

Good luck today to the lads and hope for something from this one, preferably a win. Won't be easy but achievable.
Safe travels to all who's going.

Re: Player news

Surely if Cameron is playing that well, you'd think that Dowse would give him his break in the first team. It's okay getting Adam and then Jack in on loan but when we have a lad who Dowse thought was good enough to be one of his first signings of the season going out on loan, you have to wonder what...

So what are you saying M1? Surely by then we'd be going home to a hot water bottle, extra blankets a torch and a pack of cards for entertainment. Provided we can afford the batteries. :o

Re: 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗗𝗨𝗟𝗘𝗗 𝗙𝗜𝗫𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘

I take it that the club has taken no stance on Energy prices to bring Kick-offs forward during the Winter months to save on costs?
Just a question really. :geek:

Lordswood FC

What a brilliant idea of Lordswood FC to charge Food for the Foodbanks for admission at one of their fixtures. Easy to ask what the concession price is at the gate and make a joke of it, if it wasn't such a serious issue.
I hope they get a bumper crowd.
Well done Lordswood FC.

Re: Dartford v Hungerford Sat 1 Oct 2022

Good interview with Tyler, 'Wynt's' getting a special mention. Jordan a much liked player for Dartford over the season's and he deserves the plaudits. Third in the league behind the two favourites of everyone, not a bad show and it doesn't seem that long ago that a few on here were hanging Dowse out...

Re: Dartford v Hungerford Sat 1 Oct 2022

Glad we got that one out of the way and three points to boot. Team hopefully are growing in confidence as we had no Samir running the show.
Well done the lads, well done Dowse.

Re: News from around the National League South

I agree too, but others keep bringing him up.
I suppose we would all be talking differently if Steve had got it right last season and we were sitting 7th in the National League Premier.
I just feel he is much to good to be talking on the radio or whatever he was doing before he went to Gloucester. ;)

Re: News from around the National League South

Happy to see SK back in the management seat. will look forward to seeing Gloucester's results. I'm sure it won't be long before they will be going up the table soon. Always a King supporter, but the Darts supporter first. :)

Re: Dartford v Hungerford Sat 1 Oct 2022

Yes. nothing like being cornered is there? Looks like they'll have to fight their way out. Don't like the way Hungerford play their football, ingrained into them by their young manager. Still, hopefully we are better than that. No Samir but hopefully good enough for our third home win on the bounce....

Re: Dartford v Eastbourne Tue 27 Sep 2022

Well said Kevin. First off, from the highlights alone, so much indecision, in defence especially, but all over the pitch for us. Youngy probably had his worse game and how Eastbourne weren't 2 or three up before we scored is beyond me. An ugly win but as long as we get results then who's arguing. Ra...

Re: Dartford v Eastbourne Tue 27 Sep 2022

I'm sorry but even the strongest side we could put out looks a bit shakey in my opinion and with Samir suspended on Saturday even more so.
Still, good luck the lads tonight, here's hoping to continue a winning streak. :)

Re: Dartford v Eastbourne Tue 27 Sep 2022

Unless Rodari gets more support up front, preferably from Sheringham and Coulson starts this will be a tough game. I'm sure Eastbourne are no pushover's and H&R pushed us close.
Maybe Herschel to start on the bench if he can get away from fans wanting selfies

Re: Dartford v Hampton and Richmond Sat 24 Sep 2022

I wondered where Herschel was playing first half, he looked a little lost and was hardly any help to Rodari at all. Davide should have had two himself before half time and I did feel a little sorry for the lad. To be honest I thought it was a good competition between two teams at the end of a season...

Re: Dartford v Hampton and Richmond Sat 24 Sep 2022

Good morning everyone. I have been away, we've lost a Queen (Bless her) and gained a King. We've won at Dover, annoyed with that one as it's just down the road and are already out of the FACup, even more annoyed. Looking at the highlights, very few. I thought that even with a struggling team we shou...

Re: Chippenham v Dartford Sat 3 Sep 2022

Excellent post TauntonDart. I only watched the highlights and from them it does seem that Dan Roberts was unlucky not to have scored a couple. The pitch looked an awful playing surface but that is no excuse as both teams play on it, although it does look to have played it's part on the penalty. What...

Re: Chippenham v Dartford Sat 3 Sep 2022

The starting 11 is baffling enough for me? Coulson on the bench?? Herschel missing? Injured I hope, because he should have started up front with Pierre. Wall, Sheringham and Roberts???

Re: Chippenham v Dartford Sat 3 Sep 2022

Not an easy one, even though Chip's seem to have had a stop/start beginning to the season. Not helped of course by the serious medical incident that had the game abandoned early on.
Let's hope we can get something from this game and carry on with our own stop/start to the season.

Re: Hemel Hempstead Town v Dartford Mon 29 Aug 2022

Pete, the remark made on the attendances was made by one of the idiots who pop up now and then because they haven't anything better to do. I like that Dowse comes on and let's us know his feelings and that some of the remarks being made obviously hurt him. He takes things on board. I think we should...
