Re: Farnborough v Dartford Sat 12 Nov 2022

This will be a toughie, as said by Barry, they may not score many goals but they do not concede many either. How long has Spencer Day been in charge down there?
Let's hope for a win to continue our run or a draw to continue our unbeaten one.

Re: Dartford v Welling Tue 1 Nov 2022

I couldn't get up for the game last night. When I got home around 8.45pm i was pleasantly surprised at the scoreline. Overjoyed in fact. Things seem to be bedding in with Dowse's side and we are seeing good performances all over the pitch. The winning way is getting to be a good feeling. I hope it c...

Re: FA Trophy 2nd Round Swindon Supermarine v Dartford Sat 19 Nov 2022

Swindon Supermarine seem to be one of those stop/start sides over the last few seasons. They have a good run then blow it towards the end of the season.
Typically they seem to be on a run at the moment and are a potential 'banana skin'. Need to be at our best, whatever that is. :D

Re: Dartford v Welling Tue 1 Nov 2022

Unfortunately will not be at a game until Concord Rangers. Tonight will be a whole lot different game from Saturday, Feeney seems to be a much wanted Manager and he has certainly brought something to Welling even though he was regarded as an idiot for going there. I also expect Azeez to be looking f...

Re: Dartford v Weymouth Sat 29 Oct 2022

Again we stuttered and farted around and, like said, until Wall stuck the penalty away did I feel comfortable. Weymouth definately in a false position and could have been a couple of goals in front until the pen. Statham and Wynter were doing okay and Joe had hardly had save to make other than the p...

Re: Dartford v Weymouth Sat 29 Oct 2022

No reason to think this one's going to be easy considering Weymouth's league position. But with the run we have been on lately one would like to think a win is in order. But then.... :)

Re: Slough Town v Dartford Tue 25 Oct 2022

Careful Spike, the Regicide's will be after you. You've got to forget King. I had to and a few others too. Anyway, it's nice to see Gloucester hurtling up the league. :D Nice to see the comeback last night, again I feel that Sam should have taken care of the ball to the back stick, not the first tim...

Re: St Albans City v Dartford Sat 22 Oct 2022

The sacking of Ian Allinson seems to have worked as St Albans have picked up their game in recent weeks. Not an easy place to go to at the best of times.
Let's hope for something from the game, I'd take a point, but another 'UGLY' would do nicely.

Re: Dartford v Tonbridge Angels Sat 15 Oct 2022

Their number 11 whinged at everything and stayed on the ground hoping for the ref to blow after an excellent well timed tackle by Jordan. A tackle that if Jordan had got it wrong, could have seen him sent off, such was the quality of the refereeing. Looking at the highlights saw Joe making two excel...

Re: Dartford v Tonbridge Angels Sat 15 Oct 2022

First 30 minutes were the best I've seen all season, could have been a couple of goals up before we scored. Good performances around the pitch, Young, Essam, Wynter, Carruthers, Smith and Sheringham. Sam looked a bit iffy at times but after a long lay off, thought he did very well. Tonbridge couldn'...

But I'll take another ugly win.

Re: 12 Games Gone

Perhaps i didn't put very well B&WArmy. I'm not happy with the stuttering start and to some extent with the squad (we could strengthen it).We are not firing on all cylinders, not yet anyway. Having said that, I am VERY pleased with our league position. And you're right, we do call you negative, ...

Re: 12 Games Gone

Surely 12 games in is not about Ebbsfleet and Havant. It's about us. Sod the rest. We have had a stuttering start and even Dowse has admitted that. No, I'm not happy but, come on, we are Fourth in the league. There has been a debate on the squad, Dowse himself and the FACup debacle but for all said ...
