Re: Dartford Players of The Past

Paid a visit to my local club Faversham yesterday and Bailey Vose was in goal for them. Made a spectacular save to keep a clean sheet for them. Also Tommy Osbourne is in charge of Cray Valley PM. Considering Faversham are rock bottom they played quite well

Re: Dartford v Chippenham Town Sat 11 Feb 2023

A poor game an ugly win. Chip's caught out early and didn't really have a finish having controlled a good part of the first half. Came out second and both clubs carried on much like the first. Again we got the early goal and despite Chip's finding the net (albeit offside) they didn't really threaten...

Looking forward to this game. The Chip's manager is pretty good at giving us a hard time and I expect similar tomorrow. Hope we can push on with a win.

Re: Player news

Agree with Mark in some ways, wasn't what I was expecting. Although a good signing does it somewhat undermine Dan's confidence? Wouldn't be surprised if the new keepers in tomorrow starting 11. ;)

Re: Kent Senior Cup 2nd round - Ebbsfleet v Dartford Tue 7th Feb 2023

I'm surprised that Wall stayed on the pitch, felt he should have been sent off at least three times. I suppose though that Dennis was well happy with the cynical foul towards the end with a lot of hand slapping by his players after it. Although Dennis obviously felt that Alex shouldn't have been on ...

Re: Welling v Dartford Sat 4 Feb 2023

Yes, very frustrating M1, given by an official 15yds behind the game. Happened in the past with Lampard's goal against Germany, with England's goal against Germany and with a certain Algerian officials who saw Maradona head the ball over Shilton. Dowse has already said there have been mistakes in de...

Re: Welling v Dartford Sat 4 Feb 2023

Can understand Dowse's frustration again with another piss poor ball out of defence from Conor on the second goal.

Re: Welling v Dartford Sat 4 Feb 2023

A point gained by dropping two, so in a way, a good day at the office. Two well taken goals also. Would have been nice to have got a winner in that way putting more pressure on Havant, but seems that we had to work hard to get the draw. Also I believe Dean has now lost the plot. Dart's supporter? My...

Re: Welling v Dartford Sat 4 Feb 2023

Should Loza start I hope he can finish better than he did in midweek. Two of his efforts almost hit the woodwork....of the corner flag. :D

Re: Welling v Dartford Sat 4 Feb 2023

It could be a bit of a dream too. We need to pull our finger out because we don't want to go into free fall. Need to get something from this game.

Re: Worthing v Dartford Sat 28 Jan 2023

I always find that the entity that is b&warmy very entertaining and useful and I hope he carry's on posting. As soon as I go into the website and see that he is posting I shut down and go and do something else. A, because we are probably losing and B, because it's the normal crowd that start hav...

Re: Worthing v Dartford Sat 28 Jan 2023

From the highlights we were all at sea in defence and it could have been a lot more. Poor game for us and the chasing pack are closing the gap. As Dowse says, we need to get a couple of wins under the belt and push on. But I do believe we've blown any chance of the title now, we've now got to concen...

Re: News from around the National League South

I see that Gravesend & Northfleet have signed Billy Gifford from fellow title chasers Havant & Waterlooville. If that's not cementing a kick for the Title I don't know what it is.

Not going to be easy, but with the new additions I would like to think we have it in the tank to get a result down there.

Re: Player news

All happening with regards new signings. Turn your back for one minute. Very good signings as well, we know what Meade is capable of and hopefully he can get back to some form. The other two look tasty signings. I think Dowse is getting serious :)

Re: News from around the National League South

It would be something should Maidstone be heading back into the South just as Ebbsfleet and the Darts achieve promotion.
Listen to me, I'm getting ahead of myself. :D
