Re: Tom Bonner

I think Joash is a quality player Duke and in some way the introduction of Diarra has helped him. But we still seem to be making the odd mistake at the back. As for Beeney he does seem a tad slow off his line and doesn't seem to dominate his area. Whereas Wilks would have been better in that area it...

Re: News from around the National League South

Can't remember the snooker club 5th but it was a nice run down. Think it was at the bottom of the A3. i remember it being a quaint little place and we drew 0-0.

Re: News from around the National League South

I do believe the only way of SK getting Havant out of the shit they are in is to employ the methods he uses. Because they are looking relegation material at the moment. I do believe this all started when the two clubs amalgamation. Did anyone ever go to the Waterlooville ground. I seem to remember i...

Re: Eastbourne v Dartford Tue 24 Oct 2023

Yes, let's hope we can press on from Saturday. For all the money going in down there they're not exactly setting the place on fire. I suppose it being ANOTHER plastic pitch, it's a good job.

Re: Dartford v Havant and Waterlooville Sat 21 Oct 2023

Never the less it's great to hear from you again Llamaman. Taking on board the scenarios, fancy you mentioning a Scottish club :D Did you read in the NLP the situation at South Shields? The present owner overseeing the take over there as he is stepping down because of ill health. They look a team de...

Re: Dartford v Havant and Waterlooville Sat 21 Oct 2023

I think I understood that Duke, yes I can't believe that Jack and Jacob hadn't influenced Havant in some way. But I'm glad they didn't. Especially with the quality of Jacob's left boot and Jack's dead ball situations and delivery.

Re: Dartford v Havant and Waterlooville Sat 21 Oct 2023

I had to resort to listening to the game on the Radio Kent sportshub. No offence, but it sounded dull and boring and only came to life with the goals. But I then went on the website and Steve had posted FT 2-0. Hang on a minute, the guy was still commentating. Commentary then went on for anot...

Re: Dartford v Havant and Waterlooville Sat 21 Oct 2023

Nice to hear the whistling of Kingy on the bench. But more importantly nice to be a goal up and seemingly H&W struggling to make any inroads.
Let's hope it stays that way.

The thought was there Dean. 😁.
Had to go to the hospital this morning myself so I'm not at the game.
Pissed off with that I can tell you. And now to rub it in the sun's shining.😒🙄

Re: Dartford v Havant and Waterlooville Sat 21 Oct 2023

I'm gutted. This was my match to come up for especially as SK is now in charge of the oppo. I have nothing against him and was a fan of his. Unfortunately I ended up at the William Harvey hospital this morning and have been watching the clock. Have now just got home and really don't fancy rushing up...

The Return of the King. Sounds like something from The Lord of the Rings. They'll be Orc's everywhere.

There will only be one Dartford manager at PP on Saturday.

Re: Hampton & Richmond v Dartford Sat 14 Oct 2023

At 3-3 we seemed to be in control, having been all over the place up until then. Then Harvey's piss poor penalty followed by a sloppy goal saw the end of us. As said we are a club that is carrying on where we left off last season win one lose one. In fact we don't seem to be doing that. Dowse want's...

Re: Hampton & Richmond v Dartford Sat 14 Oct 2023

Did manage to walk up and catch a Faversham game, well, twelve minutes of it. Arrived at 2.45pm to find it had been a 1pm KO. . Due to the Carnival procession later in the day I believe.
Will really have to take a bit more interest. Stephan Payne is piling on some weight, I know that. :D

Re: Hampton & Richmond v Dartford Sat 14 Oct 2023

Once again disappointed with the result although it seemed it wasn't for the lack of trying. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. It sounded entertaining at least. We just can't seem to maintain a run. Having Wynter and Johnson injured didn't help and also Statham being suspended also. Never m...

Re: Chippenham Town v Dartford Sat 7 Oct 2023

After losing Essam/Bonner, Dowse brought in his own lads and with the exception of Statham and Sam the two guys in the middle of defense has been the problem for him. Bringing Diarra in has, for me, settled the situation somewhat and his link up with Joash is bearing fruit. I hope that is not jumpin...

Re: Chippenham Town v Dartford Sat 7 Oct 2023

Good news at last, a healthy result. Shame about another sending off. Glad we got Johnno back for a second stint, I liked him a lot and glad he got the fourth. As for Bonner, the less said the better. I hope it doesn't take over from the win. Let's hope Dowse is beginning to answer his critics with ...

Gillingham

Neil Harris bites the dust. Obviously not doing enough for the owner. It was on the cards.
