Re: Dartford v Weymouth Sat 27 Jan 2024
When the game ended I was outside the gate. As said Rooney looked wooden at the back, often out run for pace. Only came good well into the game. Wall a waste of time. Was Coulson injured? Weymouth were poor. I said at the beginning of the season that Tonbridge were probably the worst team I'd seen i...

Re: Dartford v Weymouth Sat 27 Jan 2024
Looks like the Kremlin Kentc. Also if you're going to stand off of players around the edge of the box someone is going to have a pop. Consequently it wasn't going to happen at the other end of the pitch as we didn't have a clue. I hadn't realised just what a mess Dowson had left the club in a pickle...

Re: Dartford v Weymouth Sat 27 Jan 2024
Not too sure about Rooney at the back, he seems well off the pace. Not too sure about the McDonald's Community Stand either.![🤔](//cdn.jsdelivr.net/gh/twitter/twemoji@latest/assets/svg/1f914.svg)

Re: Dartford v Weymouth Sat 27 Jan 2024
Obviously we still have the same squad from the Dowson era and whereas we now have a respected albeit caretaker manager, I am coming up because the club and these same players need our support. Sometimes I couldn't drag myself up to watch what I call, inconsistent, almost robotic football. But I do ...

Personally I just want to get back. Really looking forward to it and I haven't felt like that for a long time.

Re: In other news
Perhaps thinking of another season in the National League Premier after another poor run in the FA Cup.
Something we haven't been doing for a while, or the Trophy neither come to that.

Actually it was 3-1. We scored first, which got their backs up.

Re: Nuneaton Borough facing liquidation
I think this is the second time Nuneaton have found themselves in this situation in the last ten years. They had a guy rescue them financially about four years ago but that, bit looks, hasn't worked out for them. I remember our last game up there, I think it was our last season in the National League...

Good luck Harvey. Not a great loss as he hardly excelled, but then under the circumstances, who would?

Re: New Manager.
I'm beginning to wonder if this could be all too late. There is still a big chance we could be dragged into a relegation fight. Having Tony back is a great thing albeit temporary but two tough away games is not the greatest beginning for him and we could be in a scrap. We have so many tough games co...

Re: Alan Dowson sacked
I must admit I am relieved that Dowson has gone. But it does beg the question, can TB or whoever comes in get us out of the predicament we are in? Can he (whoever) stop the slide? I wasn't over the moon on Alan's appointment as for me it was a bit out of the blue. He came across as a clown and I cer...

Re: Weston-super-Mare v Dartford Sat 6 Jan 2024
The amount of chances to put the game to bed before WSM equalised is beyond me. Two from Luke in the last two games. Staggering. ![Wink ;)](./images/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif)

Re: Weston-super-Mare v Dartford Sat 6 Jan 2024
I don't blame Dowse for his players actions and their inability to play 95 minutes. I blame the football being played. It's awful from what I've seen and I haven't seen a lot this season.
