Re: Caterham Seven Car

I have just got back from Malvern and while there I did the tour of the Morgan car factory. Fascinating the amount of professional work carried out throughout the whole process. I'm not really a car buff or a petrol head but I did enjoy the Morgan experience and full intend to go down to the Caterha...

Re: Player news

Nice to see Sam back. He's a fine youngster and hopefully he'll stay injury free.

Re: Dartford Players of The Past

I sounded a bit like Duke there. A form card at a day at the races.
But honestly, forget Essam.

Re: Dartford Players of The Past

I think Connor was made captain at the beginning of the season and a couple of supporters thought he was a good signing. Had a few injuries towards the back end of the season and from what I saw (3 matches) shipped a few goals. Did well to finish runners up after falling away at Christmas, which led...

Re: Dartford Players of The Past

Shame, but then I put young Jack in the Ronnie Nelson category.

Re: Isthmian Premier League News

I know it's not the Premier but Ramsgate's manager Ben Smith has stepped down after one season. I'd rather hoped they were going to be promoted as I have a friend at the gym who was always ribbing me cos we were struggling last season and it was a bit of revenge for me when Ramsgate blew a gasket in...

Caterham Seven Car

Out of interest, Rennie Rd/Drive in Dartford, where is it? I can't pinpoint it or even remember it. Living in the Dartford area for the first 45 years of my life I do not know of it. Apparently the Caterham car company is/has moved there and are doing tours. Later this month I'm doing a tour of the ...

Re: Dartford Players of The Past

Unfortunately you can't blame Ronnie for steering clear of the IPL. Far too good a player.

Might be a case of Wish you were here, as regards Josh Williams rather than Alex Wall.

Re: Isthmian Premier League News

It's nice that the Hendon boss says it's going to be extremely hard up against the likes of Dulwich, Chatham, Billericay and Folkestone.
So, we've gone from the team to fear in the National League South to obscurity.
Hopefully that could work for us for a change.

Re: Player news

I like Dukes assessments, it makes it sound like an Aintree race card. :D
Hope the lad does well for us. Welcome Callum.
Another big forward and a decent goal provider on a wing would help now.

Re: CONSTRUCTIVE IDEAS

Don't look at me. Been there done that.
I agree with everything mostly . I find life much easier.
I just don't want any confusion in that area.
I used to be happy but the medication has seen to that.
Up the Dart's.
Some very good posts on here.

Re: Player news

As much as I liked Jordan, who in my opinion was a loyal Dartford player, I did feel he had lost some pace last season. Whether that was due to being unfit or the fact that midfield was totally 'missing' in a lot of games, who knows? I am not worried by the lack of activity in signing players yet ev...

Re: Player news

Rooney was one of our best players towards the end of the season but I doubted he would have stayed.
Hoping Ade would have a good clear out anyway and then we can't blame anyone else should things go awry.
A good start though with the two lads from the academy.

Re: Isthmian Premier League News

All a little too late for one of my favourites.
The great Danny Dafter. Took no prisoners and loped around the pitch at his own speed.
He and Nobes the Brentwood connection.
