This could be an excellent opportunity for George Whitfield to play alongside Josh and for Josh to coach & develop George into an even better player.

Not a past player but I see our former goal keeping coach Jim Stannard has left us to join Welling Utd.

I’m sure he was still our keeping coach last season but has now linked up with the dodgy car salesman up the road.

An excellent signing, very experienced and a strong centre half.
Hopefully he’s still got it and his legs can hold out.

Good news on Sam re-signing hopefully he’ll get a full season in without many injuries.
Now to wait and see what other new faces Ady can bring in before the pre season friendlies start on 6th July.

He used to be very quick and strong on the ball, he used to scare the shit out of the oppositions defence at times because he was quicker than expected.
Let’s hope he’s still got that pace, albeit that was about 6yrs ago.

I remember Gordon from when he was on the terraces, always a lively character who loved a laugh and a sing-a-long.

Exactly that Tall Dart, I think nearly everyone wanted a clean sweep of players out and new in to start afresh and that’s basically what’s happened.
We’ve got to trust in Ady and give these players old & new our full backing and go into this season being positive.

Adam Flanagan has been announced as Margates assistant manager working alongside Ben Greenhalgh.

They don’t know yet if he’ll be in there from the start or if he’ll be added part way through to stir things up a bit.

1-0 Dartford, a George Whitefield header scored from a corner. Now 1-1 Now unfortunately 1-2 down bad defending Hertford down to 10 straight red card for the keeper, 1 on 1 with the keeper and he wiped our player out just outside the box. 2-2 with about 3 mins to go Unfortunately lost 5-6 on penalties

It seems to me that the board are slowly but gradually trying to make some changes and improvements for the better and some of which people actually wanted and yet some are still not happy and moan about the board or changes. I think it’s almost a case of damned if they do and damned if they don’t. ...

At least he’ll be playing in front of 3500 at home games, but unfortunately with only 500 facing the pitch watching!! I guess why would they really care as long as they’ve got 3500 paying customers. I don’t think Dartford would really care if only 1 man and his dog watched the game as long as those...

I really hope he stays fit this time then and doesn’t have the BBB attitude. IF he stays fit then he could be a good signing for this level.

We were there last season Due, with Park Life, when the home game against Taunton was called off. The crowd then was well over 1,000. with most other games called off due to frost. The whole place was buzzing with families and a high proportion of issues in the crowd (well the clubhouse doing wine)...
