Dowse is a " big boy " and rather than listen to a couple of " Jonahs " feeding him negativity IF he were to read the Fans Forum he would see that the vast majority are fair people who do have opinions but are still 100% behind the him and the Darts !!!!

Far too early to be commenting on how we will do this season after 10 games will give us a good idea as ALL of the players should have settled in by then ? As for our strikers the facts are that we have 1 young quality qoalscorer , 1 guy who has been a very good striker but [ once again] is injured ...

Nothing much to add to the comments on the game but the bits I liked : # The two centre backs played well and looked solid with the new guy Golding fitting in well and got my MOTM # The young Keeper [McIntyre ] played well and controlled his box well , just made the one mistake and needs to improve ...

I dont have anything else to add to the comments about todays game , its the 1st one and Dowse will have learned a lot and with the new centre back coming in early next week , a seasoned pro and very well known to Dowse and his methods then I believe we will see a big tightening up at the back Couls...

Pleased for Keiron as he is a decent guy and still a class footballer and can easily play at Lewes level , he still had all the touches etc at the Darts but I think the physical/age side caught up with him !!

If I was a betting man then I would bet on Tommy Block who fits Dowse's criteria of Player likely to play 40 games + a season , best right back in the league , past working relationship with him and a real leader but wouldnt dismiss Rooney or Miller Rodney ?????
