Re: Chippenham v Dartford Sat 3 Sep 2022
Didn’t think it was a penalty on the day and we were standing down the other end from the so called foul. That video has just reinforced my view! I don’t think VAR would have helped either judging by the incompetence on display in the Premier League this past weekend…

Re: Hemel Hempstead Town v Dartford Mon 29 Aug 2022
Delighted that Samir scored those two absolute pearlers. The first was really well worked with Stath and Pierre involved and that sublime curling chip over the keeper. Yep, it was a scrappy first half but scoring early in the second allowed us to manage the game without too many issues especially af...

Re: Dartford v Cheshunt Sat 13 Aug 2022
Having just watched the match highlights I hadn’t realised how prominent Luke Coulson was in many of our goal scoring opportunities but also putting in the hard work defensively, too. And our second goal was absolutely sublime.

Re: Dartford v Cheshunt Sat 13 Aug 2022
A more than decent start to the season with a number of quality performances by certain players, including Samir, Luke Coulson, Sam, Wilksy and Pierre. We certainly knocked the ball around with some style and but for some more clinical finishing would have ended the game more comfortably. It’s alway...

Re: The new season
We will almost certainly require a couple of additional signings to sustain a play off challenge but I have every faith in Dowse, based on his previous managerial record. It will take a good few weeks for the team to settle into Dowse’s preferred style but I’m not too concerned with comparisons with...

Re: Pre season friendly Canvey Island v Dartford Sat 30th July 2022 at 3pm
I hope I’m wrong , I hope dartford are successful on and off the pitch as u have grandchildren I would like to take to watch or to play for the club . If this squad provides a play off season under this manager who at minute has assembled a embarrassing squad and comes across as the boards poodle ,...

Re: Player news
Having read various comments and reviews, I have to say this signing has really got me buzzing. I love a winger that beats defenders and creates assists and chips in with a few themselves. Sounds like a great signing by Dowse. 36 appearances for a very decent Bromley team suggests we have ourselves ...

Re: Dartford Players of The Past
Just watched Adi Azeeze 1st interview at Welling when he said " he is a big powerful striker " and " he likes to get behind defences " , I've NOT seen the Powerful striker bit , but the 2nd bit I have [ loads of times ] and its called " Offside " !!!!! Spot on! When ev...

Re: NEW FIRST TEAM MANAGER: ALAN DOWSON
Judging if by all those fan’s comments it might be easier all round if we all just went to watch Woking play next season?? Surely, judging by the Woking fans' comments, it would make more sense if they came and watched us. Based on all the positive comments from the Woking fans I best Dowse would b...

Re: NEW FIRST TEAM MANAGER: ALAN DOWSON
Hi all. Woking fan in peace! Reporting in as a big Dowse fan - he did exceptional work at this level in his first season. Took a team which had a top ten budget, brought in 'bouncers' - players that set the tone in the dressing room, who he knows well - and took us up first time of asking, with the...

Re: Steve King
I would be asking who allowed King to carry on in such a reckless way considering his awful past record, i would guess what finished him was his expenses bill probably everything from the furr coat to extortionate meals etc all paid for by dfc. Whoever comes in next has got a hell of a job clearing...

Re: Ticket information - Dartford v Maidstone Mon 18 Apr 2022
Personally I don’t give a stuff about the Maidstone fans not getting into the match because of the limited allocation. If their club actually managed its hooligan element more effectively then we we wouldn’t be in in this position to segregate the match. We have never segregated this fixture previou...

Re: Dartford v Dorking Sat 5 Mar 2022
In light of what is going on, on our doorstep I do regard myself as (at the moment) a very lucky man to be able to get in my car and travel the 50 miles up to the ground and watch a game. Yes, it's a very important game for both teams and ordinarily I would be a tad excited (not good for a man my a...

Re: John Kennett - RIP
Condolences, Paul. Sorry to read of your dad’s death. We’ve lost too many DFC stalwarts in the past year.
It would be fantastic if we honoured them with another trophy or two by the season’s end.

RE: Who are ya?
Cracking game of football, gutted we didn't win, but no lack of effort by either side. I thoroughly enjoyed the game. Between Jebb and Meade for MOTM, I went for Jebb. Fantastic crowd and a cracking atmosphere. The only thing missing was that all important winning goal. The biggest disappointment f...
