Re: Folkestone Invicta v Dartford Sat 14 Mar 2026

Better resul than I expected,
A point away to the champions elect is a decent result
Unfortunately we are a bit further behind the last play off place.
Only Dartford can lose to potters bar and then draw at the top of the league
It's a funny old game!!

Re: Wingate & Finchley v Dartford Sat 7 Mar 2026

That Burman squad which included
Bradbrook,. Harris,Hayes ,Burns and Noble was the 2nd best squad that I had the privilege to watch.

The best Dartford team Imho was the one that won the Southern league Premier and reached the FA trophy final at Wembley in 1974

Re: Wingate & Finchley v Dartford Sat 7 Mar 2026

I have also read Rambo's post and I also totally
agree.
DFC are dawdling along and going nowhere.
Excellent facilities and a good set up but the management and this squad of players are average at best.

Re: Wingate & Finchley v Dartford Sat 7 Mar 2026

I have missed 3/4 home games for no other reason than it was cold and I couldn't be asked.

To me we will be a ryman club for quite a while.
There are many ambitious clubs in this .league unfortunately DFC don't seem to be one of them

Investment is the answer otherwise I don't see any progress with ...

Re: Wingate & Finchley v Dartford Sat 7 Mar 2026

Apathy is creeping in ,some supporters not bothering to go anymore.
It is such a shame bit imho we are just plodding along with very little ambition and direction in this Ryman league .

When we got relegated I honestly thought that we would make a quick return to the Connie south but with this ...

Re: Wingate & Finchley v Dartford Sat 7 Mar 2026

Don't know if it's down to our board or Pennock or our tactics or our players or the tea lady but one thing is for sure.....
We are a poor shadow of Burmans conference teams of not that long ago.
While Maidstone ,Ebbsfleet and Dover seem to be doing OK we find ourselves in the Ryman and getting ...

Re: Wingate & Finchley v Dartford Sat 7 Mar 2026

Unless our board wake up and bring more investment in then we are going nowhere.
This team simply Ain't good enough.

DARTFORD FC ARE BETTER THAN THIS!!!

Re: Dartford v Ramsgate Tue 3 Mar 2026

Hoping for a win obviously.
But I won't be suprised if we don't get 3 points.
Ramsgate are a decent team and unlike us they are in good form

One or two of the old stagers i know who have been season ticket holders for years are thinking about not bothering to renew for next season because they are ...

Re: Welling Utd v Dartford Sat 28 Feb 2026

Unfortunately our board don't realise that the youngsters are the future of the club.

Also I cannot see us progressing unless new Investment comes in .

Oh for the days when we're playing Luton,
Grimsby.,Mansfield and Port Vale.

Samir is a quality player and very experienced
Maybe worth a punt at management
Or at least a coaching role.in the future

Re: Welling Utd v Dartford Sat 28 Feb 2026

Good luck Darts, I haven't been to Welling fc for years .It is not my favourite away fixture.
I am hoping for 3 points but this is a local Derby and the wings will be up for it big time.
Another poor performance from our lot and we could well get turned over .
It's a funny old game but I cannot see ...

Re: Welling Utd v Dartford Sat 28 Feb 2026

Apathy beginning to creep in from some hard-core fans.
Sad times but understandable.
Beaten at potters bar and a very fortunate draw against Cray. doesn't bode well

Hoping as ever for a win but no predictions from me..
We are far too inconsistent.

Re: Dartford v Cray Wanderers Sat 21 Feb 2026

Rumours that quite a few season ticket holders are thinking about not renewing for 26/27
I don't know if it is just gossip but I ain't getting any younger and standing on the terraces freezing my
**** off watching us struggle against teams that we would have thumped a few years ago is not my idea ...

Re: Dartford v Cray Wanderers Sat 21 Feb 2026

What concerns me is the fact that our main rivals
Used to be Ebbsfleet and Maidstone and to some extent Dover and Tonbridge.
Nowadays our rivals are Cray wanderers and Chatham. No disrespect intended but to me we are standing still whilst apart from Welling we are getting left behind.
We need ...

Re: Dartford v Cray Wanderers Sat 21 Feb 2026

After the last 2 performances I will probably not go to Welling..
I will probably be repairing my shed roof.
Bring back Noble,Burns, Bradbrook, Harris and
Hayes....now that was a a team worth watching!!

Re: Dartford v Cray Wanderers Sat 21 Feb 2026

All I can say to our board is there are quite a few long term supporters (40 years plus )who have followed the Darts for years and are fed up with what feels like a complete lack of ambition from the club.

We need investment but the club seem happy just to plod along in this pub league until dare I ...

Re: Dartford v Cray Wanderers Sat 21 Feb 2026

I too cannot see us making the play offs.

We were very fortunate to get a draw
Cray must be gutted after missing a penalty and an absolute sitter

Man of the match
JOE HENLEY .........

I am not going to slag off any of our individual players but imho we simply .........
AIN'T GOOD ENOUGH. to get ...

Cray are no mugs and let's be honest
This Squad is a long way from our conferences south days.
