A very iffy penalty but we didn't turn up and got what our lack of ideas deserved.
On too more important matters ie. Promotion

At least Ebbsfleet lost at home a small crumb I know but better than nothing.

Re: Fa Trophy 5th round Needham Market v Dartford Sat 12 Feb 2022

Wasn't there so I can't comment but once again we are undone by a team from the lower leagues.
I will wait for the reports from the regular posters as to.what went wrong again.

Excellent 3 points from a tough opponent .
The lads are on a good run
Dorking and Maidstone are in our sights now and both of them have got to come to Princes park.

On to Needham market and hopefully we don't underestimate them

Re: Dartford v Welling United Sat 5 Feb 2022

Agree regarding Kory our loanee from Bromley After a terrible 1st 20 minutes he put his errors behind him and produced a professional performance for the rest of the game. I could not see Welling scoring in the 2nd half ,lots of huff And puff but they didn't really trouble us. It was all about wheth...

Re: Dartford v Welling United Sat 5 Feb 2022

We gifted a plucky Welling team both of their goals but credit to.the individual who was at fault he played well after that.imo. Once we got our act together we got back into the game and two quality strikes in the 2nd half saw Welling off. Hopefully we will learn from the the 2 "gifts" th...

Re: Dartford v Welling United Sat 5 Feb 2022

We must not underestimate this lot.
Taylor will have a game plan and we will need to be aware of this.
There are NO easy games in this league.
After our brilliant result against webbed feet
we need to build on our return to form.

Re: Tonbridge Angels v Dartford Sat 29 Jan 2022

Yes, I am puzzled by Jake being on the bench, but Kingy must have his reasons.
Hoping for a result obviously but I ain't putting any money on it , not with our form of late.

Re: Dartford v Concord Rangers Tue 25 Jan 2022 - KO 7.45

Whatever is causing these very poor performances needs sorting very quickly I too am puzzled as to why we have gone from exciting one touch football to absolute dross in such a short time. We will not be relegated but if this present no show. Continues then we could finish bottom half . I am ussuall...

Re: Dartford v Concord Rangers Tue 25 Jan 2022 - KO 7.45

Well., I will take my tin hat off because I expected some flak for my reasons for not bothering to go last night. I have seen lots of highs and lows at DFC since 1958(my first game) and driving home on Saturday I decided that I need a break from the garbage that is being produced on the pitch. I can...

Re: Dartford v Concord Rangers Tue 25 Jan 2022 - KO 7.45

Well I am a season ticket holder and for the 1st time I can remember I couldn't be bothered to go to the game tonight. I am not enjoying watching the team at present because it is pretty dire and boring. I Will be carry on supporting my club but I will.not stand in the freezing cold to watch rubbish...

Re: Dartford v Concord Rangers Tue 25 Jan 2022 - KO 7.45

Hoping for 3 points but who knows? We have lost our way since Sudbury and what we need is a convincing victory. Frustrating times...we have no divine right but 3 points please lads, before we lose touch with the top of the table teams. I will ieave team selection to our manager but I have to ask the ...

Re: Dartford v Hampton & Richmond Sat 22nd Jan 2022 - 3pm

Agree with a proud dart
Hampton were quicker and could have won it.
I wish I knew what was wrong.
We look more and more like a mid table outfit.
We have no divine right to win games but I am baffled as to where the free-flowing football and goalscoring has gone!!

Re: Dartford v Hampton & Richmond Sat 22nd Jan 2022 - 3pm

Very frustrating , we were simply not good enough. Relying on one man to score the goals. The midfield outplayed and 2 poor goals conceded. We are looking more and more like a mid table team. H&R were quicker than us and wanted it more imo played the better football. Whatever happened to the tea...

Re: Player news

Our best midfielder gone. I must admit that it is disappointing but good luck to the lad, he should be playing at a higher level. I don't think that we will slide down the table but since the Sudbury debacle we look like a play off candidate at best , for some reason despite having 4 good strikers w...

Re: FA Trophy 4th round Dartford v Weymouth Sat 15 Jan 2022

Excellent 1st half ,it was a pleasure to watch and reminded me of how we were playing before the Sudbury debacle 2nd half we struggled and our excellent keeper kept us in the game.Weymouth were much improved and dominated play We were hanging on a bit as the game went on. I thought that some of the ...

Re: Dartford v Dulwich Hamlet Saturday 8th January

Agree with earlier posts. Whilst we have no divine right to win games ,we look Jaded and tired. The 1st half was poor and we were not at the races The 2nd half was better but how Essam missed our best chance still has me puzzled. Our equaliser from a rebound was fortunate but deserved Wilkes then ma...

Re: Negativity

First game march 1958, so like Trev B , I have seen good, bad, boring ,indifferent , exciting and frustrating seasons. Yes It has been disappointing since the Sudbury disaster but we are not Man City or Liverpool.. Where has it all gone wrong..???.... I simply don't know but even a small child knows ...
