Re: Dartford v Welling Tue 1 Nov 2022
I picked the wrong time to be full of a stinking cold (not covid).
Went to bed at 8 o'clock but followed the updates .
Great win lads with some excellent finishing.
Feeling a bit better this morning
Probably down to night nurse and the Darts demolition of the bus stop team.

Re: Dartford v Weymouth Sat 29 Oct 2022
Alex Wall has always had talent but some people questioned his attitude and commitment. He is a good player imo and I hope that he stays with us because Dowse obviously rates him and he proved what handful he can be against Weymouth. 46 league games means that we need a strong squad not just a best ...

Re: Dartford v Weymouth Sat 29 Oct 2022
Regulation win against a team who were better than their position in the league Great 1st goal by Johnson ...superb strike. Wall took an unstoppable penalty for the 2nd and scored the 3rd late on by which time Weymouth were well beaten. We won comfortably in the end against a team who looked reasona...

Re: Dartford v Hungerford Sat 1 Oct 2022
A good win against awkward oppo. I could not see them scoring unless we gifted them a goal. Their Sh* thousery tactics were not as bad as I expected but as others have said I am glad that I don't have to watch them every week. 3 points and 3rd in the league...... After a dodgy start we seem to have ...

Regulation win against a potential banana skin.
Good to see us in 3rd place after an excellent run.
Not the most riveting game but 3 points are always welcome.

Re: Dartford v Hampton and Richmond Sat 24 Sep 2022
I just hope that we can put in a performance because to be honest (as I only go to home games) I have been completely underwelmed. The Beckenham game was a disaster but more worryingly they were the better side imo. Dowson has a good track record and hopefully we can improve because at home the Dart...

Re: FA Cup 2nd round qualifying Dartford v Beckenham Town Sat 17 Sep 2022
Good luck to Beckenham, they deserved to win. As for the Darts.... At 1-1 you could see it coming , we were being outplayed, out fought and were made to look very ordinary. A lot of work needs to be done with this bunch of players. I was glad to see Kingy appointed but in the end I was glad to see hi...

Re: FA Cup 2nd round qualifying Dartford v Beckenham Town Sat 17 Sep 2022
I have to agree, today we were abysmal! There was simply nothing to even bother our opponents and for someone who is yet to see us win under Dowson I am not convinced that there is not enough quality in this squad to make any progress on the pitch. Some of these players are disappointing to say the ...

Re: Dartford v Worthing Sat 27 Aug 2022
Very disappointing end to the game but we have a chance to get back to winning ways at HH on Monday. Leaving the ground yesterday ,I have not seen so much frustration from a lot of our fans for a long time. Imho far too many of our players just didn't turn up for the.2nd half . Still 40 or so games ...

Re: Dartford v Worthing Sat 27 Aug 2022
I made it 2 shots at goal in the 2nd half for us.
One hit the crossbar and the other effort was a shot that I could have saved.
There is a long way to go but our capitulation today was very concerning.

Re: Dartford v Worthing Sat 27 Aug 2022
Have to agree with the other disappointed posters .first half was average but we were very poor in the 2nd half .
I hope that Dowse can sort it out because losing is one thing but the way we lost today was shambolic.

Ah! Carl Rook ,Now there was a player who came with a big reputation and for whatever reason ...was not very impressive.
Not one of our best signings!

I play golf at PP so I picked my ST up in the champions bar.
If anyone uses the facilities at PP or is just passing it couldn't be easier.

Did ok until all the changes at 2-1 down on the hour.Don't know what we learnt after that because we were totally outclassed as you would expect with trialists against full time pro's.

Re: Player news
I will wait and see regarding Wall and Sheringham.
They are both very experienced and although a lot of fans will possibly have doubts a combination of one of them with a younger striker like Roberts up front might just pay off.

Yes, I have to agree..
Wilksy is an excellent keeper and I for one am more than pleased that he will be back between the sticks for us again for the coming season.
