End to end game today and with better finishing Weymouth should have scored a couple - there again we could have had half a dozen. Glad to see Alex add to his goals scored and good performances all round. I gave my MoM to Maxwell today tidied up so much at the back.

Not sure if posted on here before, but Tyrique Hyde has left Welling for Lewes.

Hopefully another win tomorrow to get a run going, if we win would have thought we would be in the playoffs so things are not as bad as they seem, Is Elliott Romain still on loan to them? As for Ebbsfleet lets see how they react when they eventually lose might go the same way as we did last season....

Agree with most on here that the game was a good one and we were indeed unlucky to lose it.

I was in line with the offside but I do think the lino was correct unfortunately - but only just.

Enjoyable game and must have been tough in that heat. Good to win back to back games and hope we can continue on Tuesday. MoM I ended up giving to Samir but I did consider Connor and Pierre and very seriously Sam who did a great job at left back.

Not really for this thread but received the Watling Street book this week. Definitely worth getting a copy as it contains many photographs through history and a reminder of some great games at the old ground. Still get a bit moved by the demolition photos, but of course grateful for Princes Park. COYD

From memory we have tried stripes a few times - the broad stripe at Wembley, the diagonal black 'sash' stripe in the early 70's, the worst the 'two tone' check braces design. Didn't mind the 'sash' kit.

Agree with Spike, reserving judgement to see who else is coming through the door. Alex and Charlie particularly will hit the target regularly even if they do not start or finish regularly or even on the pitch at the same time. We know defensively we are really good but a key lesson from last season ...
