Re: Dartford v Dulwich Hamlet Saturday 8th January

Totally agree with you Kstdart, a very accurate and fair assessment, 1st half we were poor and 2nd although a lot more effort but mostly with no end product, most crosses were easily dealt with and as kstdart mentioned failed to clear the 1st man. I too felt Dulwich were much the better side who loo...

Re: Dartford v Dulwich Hamlet Saturday 8th January

When we beat Dulwich away we was playing fantastic attacking football taking the game to the opposition as we did in our opening 8 matches or so where we were very positive, but in a few matches since we seem to be far too negative in our formation where we only create 2 or 3 real chances limiting o...

Re: Ebbsfleet v Dartford Sun 2nd January 2022

I said earlier it was a better performance in recent matches but obviously still way off from our earlier season form. One noticeable difference when we beat St.albans,Dulwich & Bath away and Slough & Eastbourne at home before hitting welling for 6 was that we played more attacking football ...

Re: Ebbsfleet v Dartford Sun 2nd January 2022

I also thought a draw would have been a fair result and the performance was also better than previous weeks especially in the first half, I thought the ref was ok but the linesman gave some woeful offside decisions, I would like to see the Dan Roberts disallowed goal again as I switched ends at half...

Re: Ebbsfleet v Dartford Sun 2nd January 2022

Exactly, this is our Real local derby and the most eagerly awaited match of the season by far against our local rivals. I got the gist litenening to kingys interview that our rearanged home game against the Fleet is to be on the Tuesday after the Dulwich game which I find very strange due to the bus...

Re: Braintree v Dartford Tue 28 Dec 2021 at 3pm

Another poor performance against a weak Braintree side, if our creativity wasn't bad enough our defending was bloody shocking,we look like conceding everytime the opposition get into the box. Today we looked disjointed all through the side which is not helped with unnecessary tinkering with players....

Re: Braintree v Dartford Tue 28 Dec 2021 at 3pm

Agree with all the comments, hopefully back to our early season form, my team selection would be Wilks, Meade, Wynter, Bonner, Vint, Husin, Hyde, Jebb, Leonard, Azeez & Robinson,

Re: Dartford v Ebbsfleet Sun 26 Dec 2021 - Postponed

Mmm, also on their website they state no other fixtures are effected due to their isolation period ending, so they will be playing Billericay 2 days later! and us at theirs on the 2nd, interesting they will most likely have a 3point lead by the time we play them at their ground. (Something stinks)

Re: Dartford v Ebbsfleet Sun 26 Dec 2021 - Postponed

Though not knowing how many players affected, I'm surprised with ££££fleets full-time large squad they can't assemble a team on Sunday. One thing for sure even without restrictions a potential 3000 on Sunday will now be nearer 2000 on a cold Tuesday night. And if the Muppet implements further covid ...

Re: FA Trophy 3rd round - Cray Wanderers v Dartford - Saturday December 18th

Everyone had a shocker against Billericay, but Murtagh seems to have a shocker most weeks but still finds himself in the side every week. We are much better with Hyde,Husin & Jebb in midfield without a doubt.

Re: FA Trophy 3rd round - Cray Wanderers v Dartford - Saturday December 18th

After a shaky 1st 20mins we got into our stride, but what does it take for Tyrique Hyde to be an automatic starter in this side he was mom in the Hemel game by a country mile than gets dropped against the stones last week, starts again today and was involved in all 3 goals! He's ability, movement is...

Re: FA Trophy 3rd round - Cray Wanderers v Dartford - Saturday December 18th

Will be going tomorrow with hope of an much improved performance against a side who will no doubt raise their game against us. We need more stability at the back and with more mobility in midfield, my team selection would be - Wilks, Wynter, Bonner, Vint, Meade, Husin, Hyde, Jebb, Leonard, Robinson(...

Re: FA Trophy 3rd round - Cray Wanderers v Dartford - Saturday December 18th

Agree with spikes post but the 1 loss in 8 games comment also being mentioned by kingy is really used to make things better than they really are, the league is the bread & butter and we have lost 3 of the last 8 league games with only 9pts from 24.

Re: News from around the National League South

If we beat Cray on Saturday we won't be playing Havant on the 15th Jan, as it's the Fa trophy 4th round.

Re: Maidstone v Dartford Sat 11 Dec 2021

Unbelievable interview, if we took our 4 chances in the last 10mins, yeh right and if Maidstone took their other 6 or 7 chances they would have had Double Figures!! What rubbish we were well & truly beaten and it bloody hurts. The only reason we created anything in the last 10mins was the fact M...
