Very comfortable 5-1 victory at Phoenix Sports tonight. Next round I understand is away to Herne Bay on the wc 2 sept. This mix of 1/2 year players looks particularly strong this and could have a good run in the competition

Billy (terrible ) Tyrell has pitched up in goal for Weymouth and played at Tonbridge yesterday. Conceded an absolute doozie for Tonbridge first. Wonder what his Dad had to say about that?

Was around that area on Tuesday so popped into the ground for a quick look. The car park is a very decent size so should not be an issue. Although to be fair it’s kind of hard to tell, apart from a fence where the park ends and the ground starts.

According to Oddschecker we have come in as 4th favourites for the title at 8/1. Maybe a little generous for a completely new team but I’ll take it . Chatham are favourites at 9/2. Bring it on

Got to say am particularly pleased for Ashdon Day. As a regular academy watcher he has developed so much over the last year and will bring particular strengths to the team. Good luck to all the lad’s signed up and hopefully a bright future at the club

All I know is Samir had his boot removed and was around yesterday. Apparently he doesn’t have a fracture so hopefully he won’t be to far away. With big Duane he didn’t play at Margate because of the 4g so I thought he may be back yesterday. Hopefully not to serious
