Yo those that traveled tonight, brilliant as always.

Re: News from around the National League South

I’ve said before and I know it’s absolutely not the way to look at it positively but it is reality.
We must, must ensure that if we do finish in the relegation places we do so by being the highest placed relegated team.
You just never know what will happen.

Re: Dartford v Hemel Hempstead Town Sat 23 Mar 2024

My take on it. We missed several decent chances including a one v one inside the box and a free header both just before half time. Then early in the second half another glorious opportunity snatched across goal that somehow seemed harder to do. They had a period of play in the second half but they’r...

Re: Dartford v Hemel Hempstead Town Sat 23 Mar 2024

Home form has done for us. Just not good enough no home win for 4 months. Maybe 4 away games (top two are two of those games) out of the remaining 7 is a blessing?!? Maybe I’m just clutching at some rather large straws!? I thought I’ve used all the straws available. Nothing wrong wrong with trying ...

Re: Dartford v Hemel Hempstead Town Sat 23 Mar 2024

A one v one and a free header at the end of the half, both off target.
HH are the worst team I’ve seen here in a long time l, though their 7 looks very good.

Re: Dartford v Hemel Hempstead Town Sat 23 Mar 2024

It’s not beyond the realms of possibility that Welling and Torquay and Eastbourne lose today, if this was to happen and we win then things look very different. Grabbing at straws, yes probably, is it likely, not exactly. There is a small possibility but there is a possibility. Big, big 90 minutes of...

Re: Dartford v Hemel Hempstead Town Sat 23 Mar 2024

Today really is the decider. Failure to win at home against a team in total free fall after losing twelve out of fifteen games says to me no way back. In fairness, this time last year we did all we could to finish outside of the playoffs and still came second, so hopefully our relegation push gets ...

Re: Dartford v Hemel Hempstead Town Sat 23 Mar 2024

Every game that arrives it can be said, this game is beyond huge. If we can win we drag them right in it, it would leave us 3 points behind with a game in hand and a very small better goal difference. Also dragging their manager into this fight would be a little satisfying yes. Technically if we win...

Re: Change of admission 20/03/2024

I don’t do many social media platforms, have we as a club let the local community know this brilliant news. We’ve gotta reach out with this because it obviously would make a huge difference with a decent crowd.

Re: News from around the National League South

If we can beat this clown Saturday we go 3 points behind them with a game in hand. Many reasons to be desperate for a win but this adds to that.

Re: Kent Senior Cup semi-final Dartford v Maidstone Tue 19 Mar 2024

It’s really good that we’ve taken the lead tonight, but the concept of Welling no longer being in our relegation battle - given that they were dead and buried a couple of months ago when we just looked unlikely to make the playoffs - is probably the worst turn of fate since PP opened  Totally ...

Re: Dartford v Hemel Hempstead Town Sat 23 Mar 2024

Well, I was at PP when it opened in 2006, our opponents were Horsham YMCA . in the Ryman South league. We won 4-2 The standard of football wasn't great but it is what we will be returning to if we are relegated to the Isthmian league. My message to all of our players is simple Start winning games, ...
