Re: Dartford v Hemel Hempstead Town Sat 9 Apr 2022
Thoroughly abysmal performance but somehow we managed to cling on to the unbeaten home record. I'd like to say that our goal was the deserved result of us plugging away for an equaliser, but that wouldn't be true. We posed zero threat throughout the game and barely caused Hemel to break sweat. The f...

Re: Dartford v Hemel Hempstead Town Sat 9 Apr 2022
It looks like the apathy virus has struck the entire team. Dismal first half.

Re: Dartford v Hemel Hempstead Town Sat 9 Apr 2022
I would have thought there's zero chance of Kieran playing at the back since he only played there to protect Kory and Tom B, specifically so they'd be available for the run in.

Re: Dartford v Hemel Hempstead Town Sat 9 Apr 2022
With only 7 games to go and Maidstone having an 11 point lead, the Stones would have to undergo a collapse of cataclysmic proportions for us to catch them now. With a gap of 14 points and a game in hand separating ourselves from the team in 8th place, it would require an even bigger collapse for the...

Re: Kent Senior Cup - Quarter Final: Margate v Dartford Tue 5 Apr 2022
All things considered that was a very decent performance from a Dartford mash-up XI. Murtagh did a great job marshaling the makeshift defence and gets my MOTM vote. Very good run outs for Luke and Jernade and the game was won at a canter. To be honest we could have had 6 or 7 in the second half and ...

Re: Kent Senior Cup - Quarter Final: Margate v Dartford Tue 5 Apr 2022
I would like to see a strong squad/team. I assume, being holders, we are going to take it seriously? Injuries have rendered us seriously short at the back, especially in the centre. I trust Kingy will make the right call. As long as everyone on the pitch takes it seriously then that's fine by me. M...

Re: Oxford City v Dartford Sat 2 Apr 2022
So many fans and the manager happy with a point,I’m mildly satisfied only. Ref missed an off the ball kick from their 10 on Murtagh moments before their equaliser. Kalala was lively but it’s such a shame that his trickery and pace don’t result in a goal scoring situation. Not much atmosphere and th...

Re: Oxford City v Dartford Sat 2 Apr 2022
A decent point against very capable opponents, albeit not a particularly exciting game to watch. Bizarre weather, kept changing from one extreme to another and I think we experienced all 4 seasons and possibly a couple of new ones during the course of the afternoon. Despite taking an early lead from...

Re: Kent Senior Cup - Quarter Final: Margate v Dartford Tue 5 Apr 2022
Listening to Steve King's interview you get the impression this match is, understandably, very low priority now and with the play-offs now looming, perhaps it would be better for both Kory and Bonzo to sit this one out? Maybe we could give a run to a couple of academy players. Hopefully we will get ...

Re: Ticket information - Dartford v Maidstone Mon 18 Apr 2022
That's all well reasoned and perfectly understandable, thanks Jack. It's a shame that a small group of Maidstone fans are basically dictating the agenda but I guess it's only this one game that we have to resort to this sort of nonsense. It would be nice if we could all just turn up and watch the fo...

Re: Dartford v Havant & Waterlooville Sat 19 Mar 2022
I agree that it's unlikely we'll win the league, but a few weeks ago it was even more unlikely that Havant would be pushing for the play offs. Things can change very quickly you've just got to hang in there and keep battling. Today wasn't great but at least we didn't lose and that point might make a...

Re: Dartford v Havant & Waterlooville Sat 19 Mar 2022
More dropped points, can't be missing penalties at any stage of the season but to do so now is criminal. Up The Darts Tell me what part of my comment was wrong/trolling? Unless you're deluded and still think we can win the league. Will be lucky to finish where we are. For me, it's when you use the ...

Perfect day and a chance to forget about deranged dictators for a couple of hours. He's starting to realise just how big a task he's taken on and is beginning to feel the pressure as the rest of the world fights back. The doubts are starting to creep in and will be compounded with another defeat ag...

Re: News from around the National League South
Its very sad at Welling-i know we have the local rivalry etc but it benefits us all if we are thriving and healthy. Local derbies help keep teams like us alive and i feel we should appreciate each other more. Except for Maidstone. I stay up later and get up earlier so that I can dislike them longer...
