Re: London Senior Cup - Dartford v Metropolitan Police - Tue 31 Jan 2023

Not exactly a thriller but a good run out for those who needed it and a chance for the youngsters to impress. Taking on board what Park Life said, but I voted for Jayden Boulton anyway.

Re: Dartford v Taunton Town Sat 21 Jan 2023

In my opinion, our worst performance in the league this season was the away game down at Taunton. We were absolutely dreadful that day and despite nearly nicking a result, in the end we got what our performance deserved. That they have already beaten us once, coupled with the fact they have conceded...

Re: Dartford v Hemel Hempstead Town Sat 14 Jan 2023

Admittedly, Hemel are a much better side than the last time I saw them, but sometimes you just have to hold up your hands and acknowledge when you've had a bad day at the office. On the day, the best team won.

Re: 50 years since winning the Southern League and reaching Wembley next season

I was on coach number 41 and there were loads more behind us. Plus the local pubs all ran coaches. Great to see the Darts at Wembley even if the result didn't go our way. Despite that 1-2 defeat, Darts were widely considered to be the best team outside of the football league that season. Great memor...

Re: Cheshunt v Dartford Sat 7 Jan 2023

As others have said, the first half was a bit scrappy and the conditions were pretty awful for playing football. Lots of honest endeavour from both teams and it looked like Darts were going to have to work hard to grind out a result. Cheshunt are not a bad side and I'll be surprised if they don't st...

I hate to swallow pride but feel I need to . Thought Kingie was treated badly and thought Howsons start was embarrassing with the karaoke and trying so hard to be nice, then the cup defeats and thought karma is a wonderful thing. I live in dartford and have seen( as have grandchildren) a amazing at...

Re: Dartford v Ebbsfleet Sun 1 Jan 2023 @ 3pm

I don't know how true it is, but I was told last week that Dennis Kutrieb's pre-match team talk included comments to the effect that Dartford are an average team in a false position ... I don't know if you can trust such rumours but I do hope it's true, LOL. Herr Kutrieb did seem a little more humbl...

Re: Dartford v Ebbsfleet Sun 1 Jan 2023 @ 3pm

What a Christmas this has been for us Darts fans. 3-1 win at Havant followed by an 8 goal double over our greatest rivalls and overwhelming title favourites, I can't remember a better set of holiday results in the 57 years I've been supporting our club. It took a bit longer to put the game to bed, b...

Re: Dartford v Ebbsfleet Sun 1 Jan 2023 @ 3pm

The good thing is that having been so far in front and raised the expectation levels to the point that anything less than the championship would be seen as a failure, Fleet must surely be feeling the pressure as they come into this game knowing should they lose, it would be their 7th defeat in their...

Re: Ebbsfleet v Dartford Mon 26 Dec 2022 at 3pm

Incredible game, Darts went for the jugular right from the off and it was all over after 15 mins. Following on from Havant, that's 2 great back to back away wins against the two big spending teams everyone tipped to finish first and second. Similar to the Tony Burman success years, it seems Dowse ha...

Re: Ebbsfleet v Dartford Mon 26 Dec 2022 at 3pm

After their hugely impressive start, the Fleet's recent results have seen them fall from dead certs for the title to simply very strong favourites. These two Christmas games are obviously hugely important. Two wins for the Darts would close the gap massively and leave the Fleet with 7 losses in 9, w...

Re: Havant & Waterlooville v Dartford Wed 14 Dec 2022

Outstanding performance from our lads tonight. Full of energy, Darts took charge early and bossed it throughout. Luke Alllen was majestic in midfield and Alex Wall devestating up front. Tough call between these two for MOTM but I gave it to Luke by a whisker. Great match enjoyed by the small band of...

Re: Dartford v Concord Rangers Sat 26 Nov 2022

Bread and butter victory for the Darts today, I felt we looked comfortable throughout and controlled the game. Great team performance throughout, but Samir was different class today, MOTM by a country mile. B&WArmy (aka "UpTheDarts") give it up mate. You're well and truly rumbled and n...

Re: Dartford v Concord Rangers Sat 26 Nov 2022

Here's hoping for a return to winning ways after our spirited performance at Oxford. When the work rate is as impressive as that then the results will follow. I had it wrong about Tom B's suspension, the two yellow cards that led to his sending off a few weeks back, led to a one match ban for the se...

Re: Change of admission policy for supporters 13 -17yrs old

So does anyone know yet, if this applies only to home fans? If so, how do you tell if someone is an away fan or not? If it doesn't apply to away fans then how are the turnstile operators expected to know who is who? Some people don't even support either side, they're just out to see a game of footba...

Re: Oxford City v Dartford Tue 22 Nov 2022

When you're that close to taking all 3 points it's obviously going to feel disappointing to concede a late equaliser, but when you llook at the game overall, a draw is a decent result. Oxford ping the ball around very nicely and their football is easy on the eye but Darts defended resolutely and the...

Re: Change of admission policy for supporters 13 -17yrs old

It's a well intentioned mistake in my opinion. As well as punishing innocent people who aren't aware and just turn up on spec, I wouldn't be surprised if it causes more trouble than it solves when visiting fans get refused entry solely on the basis of age. A backward step in my view.

Re: Farnborough v Dartford Sat 12 Nov 2022

On the positive side, we did go on to score 3 more goals after Tom's dismissal against difficult opposition last week. I have every confidence in Jordan Wynter covering tomorrow. I just hope our ever improving attacking force are on form and we can bag 2 or 3 goals. I'm expecting a Darts victory bu...
