Re: London City Lionesses

If Ebbsfleet's new Stadium goes ahead, they will be looking for a groundshare while the work is carried out. Distance and transport links make Princes Park the logical choice. However two of our previous ground sharers Thamesmead Town and Greenwich Borough both folded so I hope Ebbsfleet are not sup...

Re: Player news

I remember Josh Hill playing his first game for us a good few years ago against Ebbsfleet in the FA cup I seem to remember. He has done the rounds since then but we've been looking to bring in a Tom Bonner type of player he could well be the man.

Dan Wilks joins St Ives Town in Cambridgeshire (not Cornwall), They are a Southern League Central Division team I believe.

Re: Player news

Hearing that Duane is coming back reminds me of Dowse resigning Alex Wall and Charlie Sheringham, disappointing. Still he might be the 20 goal a season forward we desperately need but I doubt it.

Re: Player news

Chelmsford seem to be losing a lot of players, was last season's 2nd place their high water mark and now back to mid table mediocrity. Samir's signing should hopefully be a big asset for us. Jacob Marsden I believe wasn't their 1st choice keeper last season but according to their forum he was also t...

Re: News from around the National League South

Was it that long ago we regarded ourselves superior in all things to Bromley, better ground, better support and better players. Now they deservedly enter the EFL. Better them than Maidstone, lets hope they survive longer than Sutton.

Re: Isthmian Premier League News

I said in an earlier post the Isthmian premier might be the kick up the arse Dartford FC needs on and off the field of play. Its amazing to think we will be playing Cray Valley next season, how long ago was it we were playing Luton and Wrexham.

Re: Player news

Sorry to see Max Statham go, I thought he was a good player who lost his way towards the end of the season but didn't they all. Tommy Block 1 game in 3/4 off injured and Jordan Greenidge worse player I've ever seen in a Dartford shirt.

Re: Dartford v Truro City Sat 20 Apr 2024

Without wishing to pee on our parade this was Truro's 4th game of the week and they had enough chances to get a point at least. Our keeper had an excellent game. Young Olly looked well decent until a bash on the nose took the wind out of his sails but his 2nd half pass that carved open the Truro def...

Re: Dartford v Eastbourne Borough Mon 1 Apr 2024

I felt sorry for our keeper he is what he is a young lad on loan from Orient learning the game. I don't think it did much for his confidence when Ady shouted at him "next time punch the f*cking ball" after he let in the first goal. A great shame Dowse let Dan Wilkes go. Injuries and bad lu...

Re: News from around the National League South

Looking at the League Table Truro did themselves a power of good yesterday with a victory over Slough that moved them up the table. We are now clinging on in the hope Taunton can't make their games in hand count. Eastbourne must be beaten Monday.

Re: Dartford v Hemel Hempstead Town Sat 23 Mar 2024

We worked and tried hard but with no real quality up front to put the ball in the net we were always going to struggle to get the 3 points. Hemel were better than I expected and when they nicked a goal I thought Hastag utd here we come. Paul Rooney not a great footballer but he gives 100% got us bac...

Re: Dartford v Maidstone Utd Sat 16 Mar 2024

Maidstone didn't look much first half but I had a feeling in the last seconds of the half they might nick a goal and their bloke did hit it well. Second half showed our old faults, Greenidge reminds me of Wall except he's not as mobile. I believe some of the Tonbridge faithful called him the sideboa...

Christ Welling win 1-0 at Yeovil what an appointment Rod Stringer has been for them. Our fate depends on Taunton and Truro being able to play their outstanding games.

Re: News from around the National League South

I suppose he can afford to work free for Hemel after the payoff I presume he got from Dartford, I wonder if Martin Tyler and the rest of the crew joined Hemel as a job lot. Should be a very interesting game when we play them.

Re: Dartford v Taunton Town Sat 24 Feb 2024

Totally toothless upfront until Olly Box and Wall came on , perhaps had they got on earlier we might have nicked it. Luke Coulson worked hard. Taunton seemed very happy with their point. So the Ref was total shite what else is new in the NLS.
