Re: Pre-Season 2024
Yes Rambo, could never understand those fixtures. I know it's all about fitness levels but they were mainly for getting a big crowd in on a sweltering hot day for half a team of trialists and three teams from the opposition. Agreed Lars , furthermore I am convinced the friendly thrashings we took l...

Re: Pre-Season 2024
Good two winnable games. Hopefully a couple of home games will be winnable rather than taking 5-0 hidings for a few bob

Re: Player news
In no shape or form can I see us making a swift return to the National South. But if it means the manager is given the time to build a team in the mould of Bradbrook, Burns, Harris and Noble etc then the best things are worth waiting for. It will not be easy Ajax , as clearly if we start the season...

Re: Player news
Of all the non loan players from last season I only wanted wynter to stay. He chose to leave so like the rest of them he can go do one. All the players that have left now have a relegation on their cv , who is silly enough to take them on Looking forward to hear who we sign. Hopefully Ade has a bett...

Re: CONSTRUCTIVE IDEAS
There is an option to send it if you wish but you can choose to pick it up from the office before a friendly or at the first game oc the season ( which I have chosen)

Re: Player news
Disappointed but not surprised by Coulson’s departure. He was a massive coup for DFC, arriving as one of the best players in the National premier. It’s a real shame it ended this way. Along with Olly Box, Baris Altintop, Ronny Nelson and one of the goalkeepers, either Sandford or Byrne we had a few...

Re: CONSTRUCTIVE IDEAS
Good action from the Board and I look forward to seeing what is done to get more fans in PP and his thd experience can be improved
With regard to the free season ticket for youth to the age of 16 I feel the Board “owe”young fans and this ticket should be available up to the age of 17 and 364 days

Re: Irving takes inspiration 26/04/2024
Steve I am glad the Board are thinking about change and initiatives to improve attendances and await to hear what the plans and changes are I would be like to comment on two points Please do not sugarcoat the attendances in the last two seasons. It had been disappointing to say the least. You well k...

Re: CONSTRUCTIVE IDEAS
Ok thanks all So it seems we only make extra money from bar and food sales if attendances increase so forget that one until we start playing better quality football , win games and make the PP experience better The food available is the absolute pits so me and my mate will stick to two coffees and t...

Re: CONSTRUCTIVE IDEAS
There is one thing Park Life that I would like clarity on. It is mentioned now and again that if special offers or free entry is made on ticket entry the loss of money can be offset with extra bar and food sales I would like to know what the deal is with the catering deal. Do we get a rent irrespect...

Re: Dartford v Truro City Sat 20 Apr 2024
So it's official, despite being an absolute crock of doodah all season, had we beaten just Eastbourne, that one win would have been enough to have avoided relegation. Such a small task and yet we couldn't manage even that. The squad assembled by Dowse was unbalanced, sub-standard, lacking in qualit...

Re: Dartford v Truro City Sat 20 Apr 2024
I think you mean Ollie Box rather than Ollie Bray. Bray did ok when he came on but he’s Aldershot’s player and hasn’t shown enough to suggest we should go for him. The keeper (Byrne) is a Leyton Orient player. It’d be nice if we could sign him but there’s more chance of my hair growing back. I’d ke...

Re: Dartford v Truro City Sat 20 Apr 2024
I enjoyed the first game of the season and todays game. In the main the other home games were rubbish so glad to see the end of this appalling season Once the lads came on in the second half we improved immensely. Ollie Bray looked a real prospect. Proof that there must be a pathway into the first t...
